On a German website there's a quiz where you can win tickets to the show. One question is quite hard though - who wrote the intro to KTF? I never heard anyone talking about that specific part in an interview. My guess would be Richie...the credited persons for the song are Richie, Jon and Desmond.
Does anyone know that for sure?

I'm afraid they mean the bass line which is kinda an intro to the song.. atleast at the shows. And that was written by Hugh (and played) but it is not that much of an official information. Hugh wrote in Q&A on his website once.

Officially written by Hugh? Maybe in actual fact it was but I dare say the answer is more likely to be Alec. Perhaps their testing your knowledge of when Alec was replaced (if the answerer even knew about Alec).

I've seen that quiz too and the answer they wanted to hear was Hugh McDonald. I don't consider this a fair question, since he's not even credited and who knows what he might have said in some q&a way back.

Isn't that kind of the point of a quiz aimed at die hards though? Only the ones with the knowledge of these things related to music can be considered the biggest die hards I reckon. Not the ones able to answer whether Jon's wearing boxers or briefs, or what the name is of the latest single etc. I really liked how they spiced it up a bit. And just for the record; if someone doesn't know the answer it doesn't make him or her less of a fan, but just someone who doesn't know as much of the band as the one who could answer all questions. :)

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Thanks for the info, do you happen to know if this is streamed on the Radio, just the Radio audio was way better than the Red Button Live Feed on the BBC.
