About Slippery and old videos
 

When was SWW released? I read somewhere that it was released in April 1986 and somewhere else was said June 1986. I'm wondering 'cause I have birthday in July and got SWW as my birthday present but I'm not so sure about the year... I turned 7 or 8 back then.

The other thing I was wondering when I was looking the old videos was about Bad Name video... If this was their first major hit how did they make the video with a lot of fans? :wink: They were quite popular in Japan already but I guess the video was filmed in the US.

And then, I'm not sure but isn't there one same blond girl in a couple of the 80s videos? I can't remember which videos those are because I watched 15 hours of BJ videos during the weekend :lol: I just thought if it's a coincidence or if they did it on purpose?

the band already had a reasonable fan base by the time SWW was released because it was their 3rd album which is probably why there are alot of people in the audience.

Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles isn't that big.....it wasn't an actual concert and the filming was specifically for the video. You don't actually see alot of people. You don't actually see people singing along. At most you see some panning close ups of the audience or pounding fists..but all close ups..you never get a camera sweeping across the entire Auditorium showing it filled with people.

But yes, they did have a fan base...it's not like they were unknown or had to beg people to go see them. Radio announcing the filming of a video with the chance to be in it helps.
