Richie Sambora solo petitions songs on BJ tour

Richie Sambora petitions for songs on BJ tour.

Now they are rehearsing the songs of Bon Jovi's new tour. I wish that those who want to hear Richie Sambora solo songs live, write in your twiter to let them know.

It would be great to have many petitions for Seven Years Gone, The Answer, Learning How To Fly, Fallen From Graceland, If God Was A Woman, Stranger ....

I don't would like to hear "Lay your hands on me" or "I'll be there for you" every night.

Remember, write to the account of the real sambora twiter.

Won't make any difference whatsoever.

You are free to don't so, but do not bring Their poison to spoil this good intention please.

Everyone who wants to hear Richie Sambora solo songs, leave a message on the account of the real sambora twiter.

You can request your favorite song of Richie Sambora, so he can play it.

We lose nothing by trying.

Remember, change the guitar solo of "We Weren't Born To Follow", anything is possible.

Yeah, but the point is this;

Richie wasn't able to sell any ticket in America, so I really doubt there being a majority in any way who's interested in hearing Richie Sambora sing a song. Apart from the small fanbase no one knows his songs anyway, so it'd leave at least 90% of a crowd absolutely wondering what he's singing anyway. Plus writing to Sambora's Twitter page won't make a difference, Jon calls the shots anyway.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

This doesn't help since not Richie decides this but Jon and Jon doesn't have a twitter account.

Spot on. Not only that, but half of the crowd won't even know who Richie Sambora is, many people I've overheard at shows before think it's just Jon with a backing band.

You're free to do so. Repeat, Richie change the guitar solo in We Weren't Born To Follow.

They are rehearsing the songs. It is true that no one knows the songs of Richie Sambora, but it's just a song to play live, it's worth trying.

You can waste time answering me repeatedly that it is a waste of time, Could instead send a simple message on his twiter account.

sorry man but thats not true, the average bj fan who buys a ticket knows very well richie sambora....they want the hits but know who richie is...
i wonder how richie will be on stage though...his tour was a dissapointment for sure...there were some few great performances but richie imo made many mistakes while promoting his album and the way the american tour ended was a failure for a musician of his caliber...i enjoy aftermath of the lowdown, i dont consider it a great album but i still believe if richie reapproach some things he could soon make a stronger album...

I disagree with everything you've just said. Obviously this can only be based on one's own experiences, and in my experience the average Bon Jovi fan does not know who Richie Sambora is. My next door neighbour has seen Bon Jovi 10 times and when in conversation I mentioned Richie Sambora's solo album to him his reply was "who?". At the shows I've been too I've overheard many people refer to "going to see Jon Bon Jovi" or "I hope he plays ...". I even heard (while in pretty expensive seats at the 02, where one would assume to find real fans) "why is Jon letting the guitar player sing?".

And I also disagree that Richie's tour was a disappointment. You mentioned the great performances so why was the tour disappointing? He's not solely responsible for his PR machine, surely the mark of a good tour is playing awesome shows?

Even for the people who do know who he is, none but the real die hards would care to see Richie play a lesser known solo song of his. Don't get me wrong, I would love Richie to play a lesser known song, but it's just not up to him. I'm just hoping we'll see the return of Richie actually getting a song, on the last two shows I saw he didn't even get to sing I'll Be There For You, Lay Your Hands On Me etc. A petition will make bugger all difference.
