All the dates? It sucks!

I'm really wondering about this subject. BJ.com said that they would announce more dates in January, including Europe. But the only dates announced was for the U.S. Are they really only going to tour less than half of Europe? If that's the case, I'm majorly dissapointed. I think that Bon Jovi are starting to take touring a little bit too easy. They have so many fans around the world, but if the world doesn't get to see them live to a larger extent than previously (read Crush and OWN tour) and not to mention this lame excuse for a Bounce World Tour (where's South Africa, South America, a REAL Aussie tour, Asia and other parts of Europe?). I know they're getting older, but if they want to keep their popularity they better think it over, cause their current formula isn't working. And I'm not talking about this just from the point of view that it seems that I don't get to see them this year, but from the point that very very many Bon Jovi fans haven't had the slightest chance to see them live since 1995/96. That's just a discrase..

And yes, I am slightly upset!!

totally understand your disappointment but i heard somewhere that they would be likely to tour for the better part of 2003...so far their dates only go to June - give them time, i'm pretty sure they'll announce heaps more dates for places all over the world - KTF!!! :D

Actually, not that you don't have a reason to be disappointed but I don't think the website ever said where the new batch of dates were going to be for. I think fans just assumed Europe based on what was released so far. They were pretty tight-lipped on any specifics and wouldn't confirm or deny or scoop any info (even if we tried) - it might have been wishful thinking gone amuck.

Yes it's really disappointing!!!!
Look, these are the countries they've visited on the KTF tour:
ARGENTINA
AUSTRALIA
AUSTRIA
BAHAMAS
BELGIUM
BRAZIL
CANADA
CHILE
COSTA RICA
CZECH
DENMARK
FINLAND
FRANCE
GERMANY
GREECE
GUATEMALA
HOLLAND
HUNGARY
IRELAND
ITALY
JAPAN
MEXICO
NORWAY
PERU
POLAND
PORTUGAL
SINGAPORE
SPAIN
SWEDEN
SWITZERLAND
TURKEY
UK
USA
VENEZUELA

If you think you are the greatest rock band in the world.....SERVE THE WHOLE WORLD!!!!!!!!

The problem for me is that I don't know if some more dates are going to be announced, or that's all. Because if there are no more dates, I'll have to buy a ticket for the Vienna show (that's the closest one). But if they announce a Budapest date AFTER I have already bought the Vienna ticket - well, I'm just gonna kill them!

Agreed.

They never said they would add dates in Europe. Only under the dates for America stood that there are more to come.

But I agree. Compared to America we only get really less dates here in Europe, even though we are their biggest market. Well I personally can't complain with 6 dates in my country and a few others that are not too difficult for meto reach but I understand the people from South and North Europe. They are concentrating too much on the American market at the moment. Not only the tour dates but also contests that are only open to Americans, AmericanXS pre-sale that only works proper for America and so on. And exept of in London there were no promotion dates here (exept of Wetten daß which they probably had to make because of their contract with the ZDF).

There isn't very much room for more dates in Europe. Hyde Park London is the last concert of the tour. After that all the equipment goes to Robbie Williams for his tour, incl. the people who work there.

you have to be quite quick to get tickets- there's only one seating area left- on the 3rd rank... it'll be sold out until the end of january...

Are you sure about that? I thought there was a slight overlap between Robbie's tour starting and BJ's ending?

They haven't announced any summer dates yet. There's always a 2nd leg of a tour. I had bought tix and gone to St. Louis in November 2000 before they even announced they would be playing in Atlanta in May 2001. I think it's too early to be upset.
