I'll explain it....

We go because it's a good time.

I went to all The Circle shows at the New Meadowlands Stadium and had a different experience each time. Its the energy of the crowd. It's the before and after tailgate. It's having fun with the people you go with. We went to one concert with 10 couples so there were 20 of us. We had a really good time. I was the only diehard but we partied in that parking lot 8 hours prior. We even missed all the opening acts and didn't even care.

The next night I went with my fiance and her mother. And we had a good time too. Different but still fun.

My friend did this for Springsteen and I'm doing it this summer. I have t-shirts from every tour dating back to the New Jersey album. It's a mix between official and parking lot rip offs. I'm going to set-up a display at the concert. Like I said, my buddy did it for Springsteen and it was a huge hit. All the fans really appreciated looking through them all. He was in every newspaper too.

Oh come on, you don't see how he's got a bit of a point there?

You're endlessly proclaiming on this board how "if the band do this I'm not going anymore" "If the band don't announce their show in Foxborough soon I'll miss their show because I'll be on holiday" "If the band play there I won't go" "If this setlist stays I'll get a refund" and yet as soon as the band show up near Foxborough you reschedule your holiday and buy a ticket for a show in a venue of which you know beforehand that it'll suck.

It's for this that it's a bit hard to take all your threats and bitching about the band seriously. I'm not disagreeing with what you're saying in regards to how they should've handled this and think most people agree with what you say, but would you indeed have stayed true to your word you'd not have had to experience this drama regarding the show at Mohegan Sun. It's really that simple. No one's putting a gun to your head telling you that you have to buy tickets, yet you still seem to do so.

Get off of it. You trash the band more than anyone, yet you still go to as many shows as you can each tour. What's your excuse?

As for Mohegan, what choice did I have if I wanted to see the band? They didn't play Boston Garden this time. It was Mohegan or nothing for this leg. As for Foxboro, I don't know where you're getting your info from, but I've seen them 3 times there and always been very happy with the show put on. The set lists may be nothing special, but Jon seems to really enjoy playing that venue and always has a boat load of energy for it.

This board is becoming a cesspool of hypocrisy. One person can say something that they contradict later (happens all the time on message boards - people DO change their minds) and they get torn a new asshole because of it. Then you've got others (such as yourself) whose story changes to fit his own personal needs at the time. You know I've got nothing against you, but let's face it, nobody really takes you seriously anymore. You can only cry wolf so many times, and you've posted more BS lies about things you "know" that it's impossible to tell where the hell you're coming from. And it's sad. This board used to be the one place we could air our opinions without fear of respite from wacko Backstagers. Now, no matter what you say, you've got SOMEONE giving you shit for it.

With that, I bid you a fond adieu for a while. Message boards about bands we like are supposed to be fun. This one is not fun anymore. More stressful than anything. I'm a chameleon and I know it. I change my mind quite often, and I can be very passive aggressive when it comes to things I'm passionate about. I can accept that most members on this board don't want someone like that around, and no one wants to stick around where they're not wanted. At least, no one who has an ounce of pride. So, everyone enjoy their show. Let's hope the band gets back on track in the live setting. I'll be back in the summer.

Please do not explain it and pretend like you are speaking for every American on this board. You are a whack job troll with nothing better to do than literally troll a Bon Jovi board.

I have not gone to a Bon Jovi show since 2010 and the only reason I went then was because I was eager to be a part of a rather large meet up and did not have the funds nor the time to travel across the world to see a proper Bon Jovi show. Even then, the best part of the show was hanging out and finally meeting people after talking to them online for years.

I have no plans at all to go this upcoming tour. I value my money and time too much. There is no fun at all in going to a Bon Jovi show in America anymore. There is no fun in knowing exactly what setlist you are going to get and can even repeat Jon's phony lines verbatim. So please don't try to explain it for every American.

As much as you might think otherwise, I have been rather positive about the last world tour and pretty much the last 20 shows I have seen. I know I trash the band for plenty of things, but my reviews of the shows at East Rutherford were rather positive. The same goes for the 5 shows in Canada I've seen, and most of the European shows of the last tour. I know my reputation on here, but just because many seem to be fond of remembering me trashing night 4 at Giants doesn't mean I never posted how I enjoyed the first 3 nights. I just looked it up and out of the 18 shows I've seen I've been negative about 3 of them, all other shows have been praised by me for being solid performances.

But the difference between you and me is, I don't think I'll like the new album apart from a song or 2, thus I won't buy it. I've said it multiple times how I've declared Bon Jovi dead as a studio act, and haven't bought the Greatest Hits record exactly for those reasons. No need to get me 4 new songs I won't play. They're in my iTunes library but that's about it. I just looked it up and No Apologies has been played a total amount of 3 times ever since I put it in there. If I get a free copy of the latest record I won't throw it away, but I can't see myself buying the record either.

I enjoy sharing my opinion on a new record and will most likely post a review, because I enjoy typing one out and share my opinion with other fans. I won't however keep on going in every single topic about how much I feel it sucks. I've been rather quiet about The Circle for those same reasons. Many people seemed to enjoy it, I didn't. No need to constantly keep repeating myself, it's not going to change matters and won't add anything to the discussion. If you know you don't like something, why keep listening to it?

You on the other hand keep declaring how you're done with the band, it's been like that for quite some time now. You won't go anymore. Will never spend so much cash if they'll play in that venue again. It's an endless amount of threats and complaints yet you never follow up on it, which kind of makes your critisism hard to take seriously. You're saying "what's my excuse?" Well, I stopped going to shows once I felt the band were dead as a live act. That's the difference. I told Thierry he'd have to do a tour without me and that was it.

Why is it so hard to do the same? You're saying "What other choice did I have?" In my book that maks it sound as if someone put a gun to your head and told you you absolutely had to see 1 show, despite being fully aware that it would have a boring set, would be 2 hours long, would be overpriced and would have cringeworthy vocals from Jon.

You know all of that in advance. Yet you bought the ticket, and then still complain afterwards. I just don't get that.

Sebastiaan

Omg you haven't been to a show since 2010? You should really go. A lot has changed since. You have been really missing out.

I do speak for most Americans when I say, we go to the concerts to have a good time and things like Jon's speeches are not a deterrent.
