For a board which slates Bon Jovi being on auto-pilot most of the time, you lot come up with the same negative comments constantly. Jon doesn't move around enough, we hate 'Lost Highway', they should play tracks from the 80s which 5% of the audience has heard, there is too many new songs but we actually clamour for this when we like the album etc. etc.

Enjoy all the shows you're seeing! :) :):)

Here is a positive comment for you: Keep The Faith sounded fresh and I would love to be there just for that performance, WITW and the new songs.
We all know that it was only the second concert, right ;)?

Just for discussions sake. We all say the band could make a better set list, may as well try to prove it.

I don't know, but is more entertaining than reading what the alpacas and aligators think.

I like Richie's solo in here - in Bad Name his guitar tone was quite awful to my ears.

And I love it when Richie does this guitar intro to Prayer...

Bad Name sounded dreadful and lacklusture.

Prayer was OK but JBJ is static

I think that ending is amazing!

Now that is a very good performance.

Prayer looks just awkward with Jon pretty much stationary, and if they continue to use Bad Name as an opener he's gotta move and show he's into it or else it won't go over well as an opener...

Well I originally said I wouldnt look at the setlist until my show in Ottawa, but I changed my mind because I wanted to see if I should drive to Montreal for the two shows this week or not.

I won't. I've seen them enough times and I can't justify the drive + hotel for this type of a show. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to get to hear the new songs live, but I feel as though my 1 show will be enough for that.

Also, I've mentionned this before, but Ottawa has about the worst crowds anywhere (I was asked to sit at a Rolling Stones concert once, because I was the only person in the section standing), but anyways that's a different story. So the odds of jon getting in a bad mood because the crowds lack of energy (if he does that) are pretty high with this set.

Kind of sad really, I used to convert so many people to being fans after I'd bring them to a show, but I'm not sure he'll be winning over many fans with such a low key set.

I guess we'll see!

p.s just watched bad name from last night....the least he could do would be to move around for it....as he knows he can get his energy back while playing the guitar for most of the show. I'm not trying to be negative, but I'm having a hard time understanding (or maybe accepting) what I'm seing.
