Nope, didn't miss the comments so there was no need to recopy them. I don't disagree, that he's too stationary, but, I'm not going to be all doom and gloom and ready to trash the entire tour after just a few shows (actually one full show).

Then why just respond to me like I'm the only one saying anything? :-(

I'll give it a few more shows. The issue is, this has been coming for a while. He's been getting lazier and lazier with each tour. Honestly, I really don't think he enjoys it anymore. I think he's just obsessed with being taken seriously, so he keeps on going.

Like I said, my plan is to go to Foxboro (where he can't possibly be so lazy) and get a refund on Mohegan. I think arena wise, he just doesn't give a crap anymore about putting on a high energy show.

But, why would touring equate to being taken seriously? I disagree with not wanting to do it anymore, as I think he'd hang it up if he felt he couldn't give a good show and perform to his highest potential but that's me. Who knows what has him stuck more to the microphone but I don't think that means he isn't into it, it's just not what we're used to from him.

he moved a lot in Dublin and Munich last tour and he also moved around for Sandy show so its not that he cant, its just when he can be bothered thats all!

i also expect the big ballads to be put out at Slane and IOW. He will want to make himself look good at the big venues he has always wanted to play

It does make for a dull show! Looses lots if energy! Please tell me wtf is the point in Bobby now? With Bobby there is now no actual need in Jon playing guitar during Sat Night, Wild is the Wind, Blood in Blood etc... So why he feels the need for 3 guitars for songs such as Because we Can is beyond be! The song has very little guitar in let's face it!

I don't know what the hell he's thinking anymore. Maybe he's addicted to being on the road. I just can't fathom someone who used to run around the stage like a kid in a candy store just standing there motionless, actually enjoying themselves. This is a guy that many considered to be one of the greatest front men in rock. Last night, he looked like one of the worst.

Maybe it will be ok and work for some fans. For me, nope. If he's gonna stand there with no movement and so little emotion, someone else can have my ticket. There are plenty of other artists out there whose music I might not enjoy as much, but because of their enthusiasm, makes for a better show. I've got all their music on my ipod. If I want to sit down and listen to it, I can do that anytime.

No one can ever accuse this board of being over dramatic, never! How many times has the end of Bon Jovi been proclaimed on this board?

Second show, no need for all this panic. Give it time and it will change. I am happy to be seeing new songs. I don't want to go to a show and see my upteemth I'll Sleep When I'm Dead. They are great songs but how many times can you hear them in concert? It's time for new songs. Give them a go.

Also don't even think of Europe now and getting worried. I hate doing the comparisons but everyone knows that Bon Jovi in America, is a different band to Bon Jovi in Europe. Jon can't pull off this shit in Europe, he will get murdered and he knows it. I remember when Richie was in rehab and I knew, just knew that Richie would be back for Europe and he was. Jon knew that he couldn't perform without Richie in Europe. So he looks at the audience and those shows as a whole different ball game.

Yes, this is how I feel.
