The Distance, One Wild night, Bounce, Undivided, Novacaine, TYFLM, Everyday, next 100 years, last man standing, welcome to wherever you are, all about loving you, (ok this wasn't even played much on even the Bounce tour) not even mentioning the bonus tracks from all 3 albums but all absolutely piss all over the likes of Who says, I love this town, WWWB, WLOL etc.

2 Songs from the 80s and the rest post 2000. Hypothetically if this was a setlist I would be very very happy with this. Some great well known hits, some rareties and Jon stays relevant. I'd love this to be the setlist at Villa Park

If I went to this show and Jon gave it absolutely everything, leaving it all on the stage, I would be happy. I wouldn't want to see it more than once but I could live with it.

It's all in the delivery for me

Now some answers.

As it was pointed up, that is not what I said.

Funny, as I remember Billboard saying that Mexico, Lima, Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo and Rio were sold out.

I get your point but:
  • They did two sold out gigs on Brasil, if they didn't play in front of 100.000 people is because they didn't added a third date.
  • About the number ones, I never said that that was good, Tico said "Just look at album sales and concerts." and I was just pointing out that the band still sells records (not like other bands that couldn't stay relevant) and breaking records with their tours.
  • And as it was pointed out, they can't be relevant everywhere, not even the rock and roll mesias and god of this forum (yeah, he's so ****ing awesome that gets to be the mesias and the god) Bruce Springsteen can do that.

Two simple things: The gig in Sao Paulo was really sold out. The other in Rio, wasnīt. Yeah, I was there and I can talk about it.

The fact is that the promoters of the show, only announced the gig in Sao Paulo. They made everyone here in Brazil think that only one show would happen. Everybody here in Rio (that I know) bought tickets for the SP gig, because of that. I almost bought. They only annouced the second date in Rio after SP one was almost sold out. I remember that I was really upset about that, because I wasnīt able to go to the most expected gig of my life. So, they annouced the Rio date remaining only one month to the show...and with very high prices. I spent about R$ 400,00 to go to the gig in the VIP area (here we didnīt have the Diamonds and golds ticktes).

They didnīt do any marketing work here...even put billboards around the city. No. And yet, Iīm sure that 15.000 people were there. And the venue was in a reform.

pretty good video of the opening & Bad Name (I gave up on the official video on the app, quality was terrible) The opening lighting looks pretty cool from this angle. I love the touch of the lighting going on Richie during his fill in the second pre-chorus.

I'm quite impressed with the lighting production....finally they've put some effort into it...good job

Compared to the Circle intro this one really sucks. Just lights, no screens, no video and even if it is cool to hear "Shot through the heart..." from the darkness, Bad Name is not a good opener and Jon standing at his mic doesn't help either. People see them come to their instrument which breaks the moment of surprise. I'm so glad my show is in four months, still lot of time to improve.

Jesus. Wonder what she would make of 'Hey God' or 'Homebound train' if they played it. She'd probably have a heart attack.
