Tour Merchandise
 

Does anyone have any pictures of the tour merchandise or what thy are offering. I've been hearing people write that the band is charging $50.00 for t-shirts. Is that the case? If so, with the extremely high ticket prices I might pass this time. With the reviews i'm reading it may not be worth spending this kind of money.

It wouldn't surprise me if the shirts were $50 this time around. They were $40 or higher last tour. I remember back in 1993 going to shows and telling the merchandise guy, "I want that one, and that one, and that one!" I think I have just about every shirt they made for the KTF tour in the USA. But those days are over! I've gotten one shirt a tour the past few tours. They really shoot themselves in the foot by charging such high prices. If the shirts were $20 a piece, they would sell more of them.

How much is a tour book this year?

I didn't buy any merchandies in 2011 because of the prices. If they're even more expensive this year, then that's pretty bad on their part.

I don't predict them being more than $40. Almost every merch stand I've been to had shirts that were $40, like it's some sort of magic number for every band I've seen. In fact I think the cheapest shirt I bought was at Richie's LA concert and it was $30.

Someone on Backstage said they think the programme is $15.

$140 for a hoodie, a long sleeve shirt is $90, t-shirts are $50.

I will never understand why tour shirts are so expensive. We already pay enough to go to the show. I remember the 3 Def Leppard shows I went to in 08,09,11 and you could have gotten 2 shirts and a keychain for 50 bucks.
