Listening to the new songs before the show

What's your opinion of listening to the new songs before the show? Is it better to know them so you know the words and can sing along, or is it better to go in blind so you can enjoy experiencing something new? I've only listened to the one radio show from London so I've only heard most of the new songs once. I'm trying to decide whether to listen to more concert clips to learn the words or not.

I like to know them. Hell, its a Jovi show, what's the point if you can't sing along?

She may get elbowed in the ribs and told to sit down and shut up if she did, because she was interrupting her neighbour in the next seats important knitting.

I usually don't listen to BJ before the shows and I try not to sing along to the songs since I like to pay more attention to them.

lol each to their own but for me that's never been what a Bon Jovi show is about...their not exactly musical Da Vinci.

Usually I want to know the songs before going to a gig, if for no other reason than to compare live and studio versions. Obviously this is a weird situation know, RE: the tour starting before the album is out.

I really don't enjoy any shows if I don't sing along to them so..

:D I didn't say that. It is just my usual behavior when I go to a concert (not just BJ) Singing along is just distracting for me.

I always do an overcharge of songs before a concert, and then I got such excitement that I listen mostly that band after the gig! Also, I'd be nice if you knew the songs to sing along with them.
