The last time Bon Jovi played Charlotte was on April 22, 2010. The setlist contained 2 surprises; Happy Now opened the show and Diamond Ring showed up in the acoustic set.

I expect the lamest set ever. Thing are not going well in Bonjoviland, I would want the back pain issue to surface soon, because it's pretty evident he can't move freely.

FWIW, on the last 2 tours, even when the rest of the south was getting the same old same old, North Carolina got different shows. Greensboro on the LH tour and Charlotte on The Circle tour were shows that I really enjoyed. (Charlotte 2010 is where they did that surprising version of IBTFY.) I'm not sure I'd put money on the same thing happening this time, though, because of where this show falls in the schedule.

Wasn't the version played in Charlotte the same played all tour long ? ?

For the most part, yes, but Charlotte was the first instance of that version, and it collectively shocked the Bon Jovi world in a good way. It was the first time in a while that Jon showed that he still had the pipes.

LOVED both of those shows. Sad, I won't get to my home state for a show this tour!!

Had tickets to the show. Lived in Charlotte. Girlfriend and I were going to go. Got into a pretty big fight a few weeks ago. I moved back to Raleigh. She can't go tonight but was going to give me my ticket, i passed as it really is not worth the drive etc as I work in the morning.

If they play any rarity it will suck, but after looking at all of the sets, the only song I would want to hear is In These Arms, that I havent already(save for the new stuff, that is)

Being a North Carolina girl, I always liked Raleigh better than Charlotte, lol! Sorry that you will miss the show. I'm hoping, against hope that if there is a fall leg that Raleigh will get picked up!

Thats kinda what I am pulling for too. Would have sucked seeing it without her anyway, so I figured why bother haha.

Although, based on the set so far, standard. Opening with Bad Name is poignant to me though ha.

I quite like the idea of Saturday Night being earlier in the set. In the past it has usually been later in the main set or in the encore. I'm hoping that Sat Night and Runaway haven't simply swapped places.
