Does It Annoy You When Casual Fans Get Better Seats or Meet the Band?
Or is it just me?
Like no matter how much you try, you can see casual fans meet and greet the band while you, to whatever reason, cant? Or even in concerts, no matter how much you try best area are taken, while you who know every damn Bon Jovi song are farther back? |
Not in the slightest. I don't think I'd ever want to meet Jon Bon Jovi.
Why? Because either I'd A) Be a hypocrite and not be able to tell him the things I've been saying about him to his face or B) Tell the things to his face and have him hate me for the blatant truth. Either way it leads for a very awkward conversation. |
In 90% of cases, it's all about the $$$ at the end of the day.

It used to bother me until I realised that on my own scale I can see more concerts if I buy cheaper tickets so it's a win-win for me. It doesn't bother me that I can't afford GC/DC anymore.
I have no idea how to get hold of meet and greet's so it does't bother me that they're out of reach. |

@Panda - what do you want to tell him anyway? And how about just the concert itself and not meet and greet? @RS8MB0R8 - so true, that and contacts. |
You don't need money to meet the band. I've met all except Jon and it didn't take any money. Some ingenuity and time, yes, but money, no.
And I also got on the stage with them in 2000 (or 2001?), when they had the bar, and that didn't cost me a thing, either. Did have to know the right people, though. Ice |
Do share your ingenuity? Wait, it doesnt involve sucking someone's penor right?!

That's why I said if you're 'trying' to meet them, about 90% of the time it takes $$$. The rest is down to either good luck or knowing the right people but for the majority of people, the only option is if they pay for it.
