I don't think they've done bad at all. They seem to have done well in the usual European markets, got #1 in the US. Its a tough month to release an album, no gifting opportunities i.e Xmas, couple of major artists have released music this month too. The lead single had very little commercial impact as far as I can tell, press was done two months prior, all things considered I think its a good performance from the album.

Yeah whatever you might say about the album, the fact that they've had relative success everywhere from America to Europe to Australia to Japan shows that they are still one of the biggest bands in the world.

After 30 years, that's an achievement and whatever criticisms that we all have of Jon, he must be doing something right.

Must be the power of positive thinking because, by the sounds of his lyrics, Jon Bon Jovi is the most positive person in the history of the planet.

#1 also in Slovenia. Climbed there from #6 last week. And just in front of Bowie, who only entered this week. Impressed and surprised.
