As we all know, cd sales are not the same anymore (nor for Bon Jovi, nor for other great musicians). You can say that Bon Jovi as a band has not evolved very much since Crush, but well, a band that is 30 years releasing albums, it's difficult to expect something that will please you like when they started with this. The surprise is not the same anymore. Anyway, if you had the same style of songs as Keep the Faith or Runaway or Shout through the heart, you won't be pleased either, and I'm sure of that. If you find some new rock band giving the amount of quality and awesomeness that Bon Jovie gives (even being 30 years old band), tell me, cause I can't find it. Tell me one band that is playing a lot of years and the fans will say the same as many fans says about Bon Jovi regarding "their music is not the same anymore". I think it is all about us too, sometimes some people needs to listen to other things or stop being overanalyzing every song. You will enjoy a lot more.

Good grief on the US charts..Justin Timberlake's cd is gold++ out of the gate and will probably be platinum next week...everything else, not even close. Looks like Jovi should stay in the top 10.

Teenage girls. They buy all the CD's.

Didn't The Circle set the record for the biggest drop from a #1 debut in it's 2nd week? So, to stay in the top 10, is nothing to complain about.

I've heard that too, but the facts don't back up the claim. Catalog albums are a bit of a mystery. Bon Jovi's Greatest Hits (and Slippery for that matter) are a perfect example. Those albums still sell like half a million copies a year it seems. Not sure who is buying those. But new releases are dominated by artists like Taylor Swift, Justin Timberlake, One Direction, The Wanted. 45 year olds aren't buying those, unless they are gifts (which is entirely possible.)

Down to No.21 in the UK Midweeks as of today. Might pop back into the top 20 by the end of the week.
