Just thought I would check the BST/Hyde Park website to see if any news....

Kaiser Chiefs and Bush opening for BJ!?!? And I'm down in the Diamond Circle.... FUN FUN FUN!!!!

Excellent stuff, seen the Kaisers quite a few times and they're good fun live even if their albums nosedived in quality with every release, they still have plenty of good tunes. Very happy with that.

Havn't heard from the Kaisers in ageeees, just assumed they had split.


I LOVE Bush, proper childhood band from when I got into grungey type rock in the mid 90's. I'm happy with this lineup :)

Can't stand the Kaiser chiefs, looking forward to Bush though, Sixteen stone and Razorblade suitcase were brilliant albums that I haven't listened to in years going to dig them out today I think!

It's looking good so far. Not a huge Kaiser Chiefs fan but am cool enough to appreciate their music and happy they are there. Bush I don't know too much about so looking forward to seeing them.
I guess as the start time is 2pm and only 2 acts before Jovi @ around 7:30-8pm then there is scope for at least 2 more bands on the main stage.:D

Never been a big fan of the Kaiser Chiefs but I'll watch them, could potentially upstage BJ with their energy and crowd interaction. I'm sure their not of Jon's choosing.

As for Bush, I know who they are without really knowing any of their material. Gwen Stefani cameo anybody?

Would be a really string lineup for the rest of the UK tour but can see this being for this festival only. Kaisers seem to be supporting everyone at the moment too, they are on the bill for the Green Day gig too.

Wife is tempted to sell our tickets for DC as we need the cash more than we need the day out..... She can't stand Kaisers, and she thinks we may be able to get money back on them as Kaiser fans would be interested.

I thought Bob Geldof was playing the same night at BJ?
