Jukebox crap
 

I am watching the 2008 show from Lisbon, namely this one:


I have had a few so bear with me. The band is doing the ol Sleep When I'm Dead jukebox routine and it has reminded me that I ****ing hate it. I do not hate the concept, I hate the execution.

Trying to create that bar band jukebox vibe would be very very cool if only they actually played something off the cuff. I am wasted most of the time and I know plenty of songs that I could just sing without having to read the lyrics as Jon does. I hate that this spontaneous thing is preplanned.

If it is something to do with the stage show, lights or whatever then just light a candle and play acoustic, or just scrap the "jukebox" thing.

Tis a great show though.

Never knew Jon headlined Rock In Rio.
