The last time Bon Jovi played Winnipeg was July 17, 2010. The setlist contained no surprises.

Graphs are on the way.

I was at the last show and was located right behind the three housewives who's husbands went along just because they wanted to give their wife something special, and a lot of talking through the songs took place. The show was alright, I guess, I spend half the time getting up and sitting down because people went to get drinks all the ****ing time. The housewives were rather busy trying to convince me to dance along with them didn't help matters much either. Oh, and Kid Rock's show was played over the PA at the parking lot of the bookstore located right next to the stadium. Yeah, that's about it when it comes to the highlights I remember. :p

Gringo Panda is at this show which will without a doubt provide for lots of unbiased views and polite conversations tomorrow.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

It'll be X's second show this week with them. Hopefully he's learned some new songs and everyone is more comfortable with the situation. I just need them in prime form for the next 3 weekends! (St. Paul, Des Moines and Vegas)

ticos_stick 04-05-2013 10:43 PM

Are Winnipeg and Winnebagos related in any way?

mo_rizwan 04-06-2013 03:56 AM

Phil X's second show last tour had Dry County. Just sayin'.....

Panda 04-06-2013 04:00 AM

Show starts in 2 min. Huzzah.

Kazyyy12 04-06-2013 04:23 AM

I expect just vanilla this whole leg without Richie, but for our sake lets hope for some surprises but I doubt they'll happen

Captmorgs 04-06-2013 04:36 AM

Have they ever played Always with Phil X?

Good question. I don't think so but not sure

superkid 04-06-2013 05:00 AM

Looks like no one is tweeting the setlist. Show has been on for a while.

I also have a question that someone may know off the top of their head...

Is Phil X playing anywhere this tour that he played last tour? Or rephrased, is any US city getting screwed twice?

Jayster 04-06-2013 05:01 AM

Setlist so far?

Yes. Des Moines, and I was at that one too. :-x

I haven't seen a show with Richie since the first leg of the circle tour. Not cool.

Des Moines. And check out YouTube. I'm not sure "screwed" is an accurate characterization.

That sucks! If it makes you feel better it looks like 2 of my 3 most recent shows will be with PX (Milwaukee 2011 and Dallas next week)

bounce442 04-06-2013 05:09 AM

I like Phil X... I really do. Maybe screwed wasn't the right word but without Richie they are not "Bon jovi" IMO

But you have to admit, Milwaukee rocked.

bounce442 04-06-2013 05:11 AM

It was indeed a good show. eotwawki was a nice surprise... Good performance. Good show.

Can't Help Falling In Love intro to I'll Be There For You. And a killer Saturday Night. I was a little surprised how much I enjoyed this show.

I remember Saturday Night was stellar.... But I totally forgot about the Can't Help intro. Good stuff!

I had a good spot so I still had a good time, but performance and setlist wise it was probably the worst Bon Jovi show I've been to. It's like they rushed through the hits and left. I'll Be There For You, Blood on Blood, Saturday Night, and Lay Your Hands on Me were all good. Outside of that it was mostly mediocre.

My expectations for St. Paul are very low. I'm going to go into it expecting little, and hope they surprise me.

Yeah, I wasn't basing my comment on the last Des Moines show as much as watching clips from Edmonton. And the Milwaukee show last time with Phil X. He can play.

What. The hell. Is that.

bounce442 04-06-2013 05:44 AM

Ha ha Rem's end of the world as we know it

rightsideofwrong 04-06-2013 05:44 AM

End of the world as we know it. I guess you kinda had to be at the Milwaukee show for that to make sense. Lol

bounce442 04-06-2013 06:02 AM

Dammit... I was really wanting a PBP

rightsideofwrong 04-06-2013 06:08 AM

Same. There's a few people on twitter randomly posting things. The show seems to be going very well. Nothing out of the ordinary setlist wise it seems though.

rightsideofwrong 04-06-2013 06:39 AM

From twitter. "You know your badass when you have an encore, 3 more songs, then another encore. #bonjovi"

Panda 04-06-2013 07:17 AM

If I didn't know there was someone posting a Pbp I would have done it. the show was quote boring actually.

I'm pretty sure the whole show was carbon copied from Edmontons setlists except instead of I love this town it was Saturday night and twist and shout.

That sucks. And Canada typically gets better sets too. At least the second encore was better than ILTT, but that just makes it all the more likely that I'll get it.

Did WWWB open the encore again? I hate that song.

Yep and it sucked all of the energy out of the crowd. whoever thought when we were beautiful would be "mysterious and majestic" opening the encore is a big idiot. it was the biggest let down of the show, and not because I was cynical. crowd was cheering standing for the encore and within a minute of the song starting everyone was sitting down. full review later Haha.

I thought it would work much like Letting You Go did in 96. Clearly, I'm a big idiot :p

Same thing happened at the O2 show I went to. Just when the show built up some steam they pulled out WWWB and the crowd withered instantly and never came back.

Captmorgs 04-06-2013 10:16 PM

First he dropped What's Left of Me, then Army of One, now Amen. It's hard to argue with those that call this a continuation of the Lost Highway tour.

Actually, first he dropped I'm With You, after the promo shows.

You're right... and not to give Beautiful World, Pictures of You, and (of Course) I'm With You much of a shot is criminal. Amen worked live (in OKC anyway - much better than MAM ever did) and if it is going to be the next single, I don't see why they wouldn't want to promote it. Again, it is still the Lost Highway tour.

MrIks from Finland 04-07-2013 12:01 AM

Because we can -or Lost highway -tour, it's full of shit anyways.

danfan 04-07-2013 12:56 AM

I've been trying to stay positive, but these set lists absolutely friggin' suck. No wonder why Richie doesn't want to be in this band anymore. I'd be bored to shit as well.
