how to meet jon bon jovi
Hey is there any way to meet jon bon jovi besides joining his over priced fan club and buying the runaway tour packages? I have been trying to meet him for over 10 years and I have read about other people meeting him. He hasn't had a cd signing with the new album yet and I haven't heard about him doing a meet and greet in general. I want my dream to finally come true. Is there any way anyone contact him like through the mail or something? I need help with this. thanks.

There is a fine line with a thread like this between innocence and stalking.
However, the answer to your question is NO. There is no formal way to meet Jon Bon Jovi |
You could try the overpriced fanclub while waiting maybe years for them to organize an incredibly overpriced fan club trip in which there MAY be a Q and A or a Meet and Greet and you MAY get to ask mr JBJ about one question or spend about 5 seconds in front of him while he sings something. And all at an aproximate cost of just $10,000... :)

10 years???
Come talk to me once you've been waiting 27 years. |

Not to be a pessimist, but I've seen some photos of Jon with fans at those fan club events, and he always has the most pained fake smile on his face, like he'd rather be anywhere else.
If I were to try to meet Jon, I would prefer to do something related to the charities he supports; he seems passionate about those, and it would make me feel good and useful to help others. While there would be no guarantee you would meet him, at least it wouldn't be in the formally-constructed fan club setting if you did. I also know of a girl who happened to meet Jon at a club in Nashville, when he was talking to Billy Falcon off to the side of the stage. According to her, Jon was gracious and chatted with her a bit, and seemed in a good mood. |

Not all but some of the women, greet him with a kiss on his cheek, so after a while, that gets annoying to him. A friend of mine who was a previous fanclub event, said that when it was her turn, she just shook his hand and he looked at her surprised and said thank you! The best stories I have heard are the unexpected meetings, when you run into him at a club or restaurant but definitely not with his family. I remember the story of the fan from the last tour in Dublin from this board. He was with his fiance and they meet Jon and he looked happy in the photo with them. |
