I know it will never happen, but wouldn't it be awesome if Richie came back, they ditched Bobby and replace him with Phil X?

We could finally have 'The Rock Band Formally Known As' Bon Jovi back!

Playing rhythm guitar for Bon Jovi would be beneath someone of Phil X's ability, plus it's not exactly his type of music. Short term gig yes, long term? Never. The Drills are a world away to what Bon Jovi are, he's much more at home doing that type of thing.

But yes, The Bobby Issue needs addressed/neutralized.

Someone linked a Bobby solo in the Richie thread (maybe danfan).

I know nowt about guitar playing but it was absolutely shameful. I've never heard anything as bad from a professional musician.

Ditch Bobby and replace him with a 3 year old playing cowbell and they'd sound better.

Ditch Bobbdy and replace him with Aldo Nova.

Tbf its not an ideal match at all for someone of Phil Xs musical background or for his ability but let's face it! Jovi are one of the highest gross profit touring bands in the world... The money that would be thrown at him for something like this (if it did happen) I doubt he would turn the offer down!

This is my favorite to show people when I talk about Bobby.

Replacing Bobby with Phil X? No way. He's terribly overqualified. You know what, Bobby's backing vocals are great, I like him there.

The real problem is giving him solos. That's all. We all know that he won't be fired, BUT keeping him from butchering more solos is something that really could happen.
