The last time Bon Jovi played Kansas City was March 15, 2010. The setlist did not contained one surprise; Born To Be Wild was added as a cover song to the Bad Medicine medley. Other rare songs that night were Richie's rendition of Homebound Train and the acoustic renditions of Something For The Pain and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night.

That is one positive of this tour. They don't seem to be playing that boring acoustic version of 'Someday I'll Be Saturday Night'. The electric version is always brilliant but the acoustic is just ugh.

It's my favorite song and its meant to be electric. "Hey....man!...I'm alive..."

Wasn't it played 2 days ago as an the opening song of the encore? I read somewhere it was the acoustic version...

I really hope not...

I've seen Bruce at this arena twice. The sound is not that great, but it's a pretty intimate venue and looks really cool on the outside. I hope they great a good show while saving some energy for Des Moines. :)

:lol: I remember checking the set in school during an IT lesson and shrieking like a girl when I saw 'Hey God' and 'One Wild Night' were played.

Brilliant set that 08 one, though. Highly unlikely that this one will be ANYTHING like that. Can always hope I guess.

Well, it seems like they've at least mixed it up a little bit since St. Paul. At least I won't be getting the same show like I was afraid of.

On twitter, realBlueswoman looks like she is doing a PBP. I've already read a few complaints about the band starting "late". Someone should tell them they never start until after 8:00. LOL.

Really preferred Born To Be My Baby elsewhere in the set.

I actually like that song. I prefer it over Lost Highway. I just don't like those 2 songs together.

Gee, I wonder why the new album isn't selling well.

Me too. I just liked it more 2 tours ago when it still should have been played. It was released as a single, it tanked, now move on. I swear, Jon just likes to play it so he can smile at the crowd and wait for women to go crazy when he say "Do we got it anymore?"

Water is my favorite song off WAN. I was really hoping I would get to hear Pictures of You and What's Left of Me. Now that Richie is gone all of April, I don't think that is going to happen. I really hope the have another midwest date in the Fall and hope they announce them soon.

Hopefully Amen pops up. I'm not a big fan of it, but I'd rather have that than Memory again.

Probably not as of now. I'm hoping for another St. Paul date or Milwaukee for the fall.

I'm really looking forward to the show tomorrow, but I'm not looking forward to the drive. It's supposed to storm all day long in both states, so driving 3.5 hours there and back is not going to be fun. I have a great spot though.

Pit right? I'm in 102. Best seats I have ever had. You're driving back home after the show? We are too, but not 3.5 hrs.

No pit, but 1st row outside the circle. I usually get good seats for one show per tour and go cheap for the rest.

Just got in from a night on the pop... Doesn't look like I've missed much:-?

I just hope the set is longer than 22/23 songs and Always is in there. I always worry when there are 2 nights in a row, the 2nd date won't be as good.

I guess I was wondering if there really were anti-gay protestors at the venue. Seems odd. I wasn't trying to get an opinion or discussion going about Bill Maher. I just gave his name to credit the post.

Dang, Lost Highway is the song that ticked them off and made God bring Hurricane Sandy to his beloved New Jersey? I thought for sure I'd be Hey God or Something to Believe in.
