The last time Bon Jovi played Denver was March 8, 2010. The setlist contained no surprises, though some rare songs like Homebound Train and the acoustic renditions of Something For The Pain and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night were played. A small note; Bon Jovi played a charity show in Denver in 2011, opened with Glad All Over and played the full version of Oh, Pretty Woman.

A graph showcasing the order of album and single tracks. A peak indicates the chart position in the Billboard Hot 100, thus a crowd possibly knowing such a song. The more peaks, the more familiar a crowd is with the entire set. In case no peak is noted the song either didn't chart or wasn't released as a single.

Once again, I've got to go to work before this show is finished so feel free to put the setlist in this post. :)

I've just arrived in Denver to a blustery, snowy scene! Looking forward to the show! I won't be doing a PBP But will post a review when I get home.

Look forward to your review :) Have a great show!! \o/

So stoked for tonight! Not expecting anything special, however they skipped Have a Nice Day, RYH, Bed of Roses, and Sleep last time so looking forward to those. Never seen In These Arms, Last Man Standing, or Always live before so those would be great. Always is a longshot considering the altitude. It's gonna be a snowy night in Denver!

MJB12 04-17-2013 12:07 AM

Potentially will be tweeting from @HeyMattrick. Won't be doing a PBP but perhaps the occasional tweet or photo.

Thank you! I'm really hoping to hear "Always."

Kazyyy12 04-17-2013 01:18 AM

I can see a tribute to Boston tonight, not sure if it will be a song dedicated to the city or just a comment about the situation. I am about 90 miles away, but it was still shocking to hear about!

MJB12 04-17-2013 01:19 AM

I guess I don't follow the BJ official Twitter that closely, but they tweeted that the tour rolls through Denver tonight and asked for set list requests. Do they do that often? I don't feel like I've seen that before.

The Rock 04-17-2013 01:30 AM

Bon Jovi tweeter site asked for requests.

Bon Jovi tweeted:
The 2013 #BecauseWeCan tour rolls on tonight to the incomparable city of Denver! What is your set list request?

crashed 04-17-2013 01:34 AM

What about Undivided tonight?

That would be a nice touch, it was done once in 2011 so its not impossible

I just put in a request for that at twitter. Good call crashed.

MJB12 04-17-2013 01:48 AM

Undivided would be sweet! I sent in multiple tweets of requests - Thorn in My Side, Always, Love's the Only Rule, I Believe, Bounce, and Wild in the Streets. Haha. Any single one of those would be fantastic.

Looks like the updated forecast for tonight is that the snow won't roll in until overnight/early morning! That's great news, now we can drive instead of taking the damned light rail!

rocknation 04-17-2013 02:12 AM

At least you'll be warm -- you could be watching Colorado Rockies games! :)

sambos apprentice 04-17-2013 02:25 AM

loves the only rule AND dry county tonight!

Saw a little bit of the afternoon game on TV - hardly anybody in the crowd at all! Can't imagine tonight's game will be much busier! Brrrrrr!

Yes and YES PLEASE

KeepTheFaith2211 04-17-2013 02:39 AM

'Undivided' would be classy, and a great song it is. Do it, Jon.

My thought exactly. They really don't need a tragedy to sing it but if that's what it takes, tonight is a good excuse to pull that one out.

I doubt it will happen though, that song is very much a Jon and Richie song.

MJB12 04-17-2013 02:46 AM

I didn't even think of the Boston tragedy in terms of song choices. Undivided would be perfect! I just assumed people were throwing that out there in the sake of throwing it out there.

I've been to the last 2 Denver shows, as well as a Salt Lake City show, and all lacked any real surprises (I guess "Miss Fourth of July" in 2008 was a surprise, but not a great one). I'm just hoping tonight there will be at least one.

I'm sure John Elway will be at the show tonight. He sat two rows in front of us in 2010. He and his posse showed up 10 minutes into the show and distracted everyone trying to get seated.

I originally had seats behind the stage, but this morning against my better judgment I traded them in for much, much better seats (on Phil's side). About to leave for the show, I'll talk to you all later!

bounce442 04-17-2013 05:00 AM

I hope you get a great show tonight with a killer set!

Hmmm RT @joshjpierce: @BonJovi How about some "Hallelujah" tonight in denver? Saw you do it at Staple Center years ago and it was amazing!

I saw that too. Hallelujah would be awesome. However, I doubt they'd do both Hallelujah and Amen. I saw Amen live on Sunday in Des Moines and it was amazing.

I have to give Jon credit for his ability to focus and concentrate. My seat was right in front of Jon when he was on the circle and there were a few really annoying women screeching throughout the entire song. I could barely concentrate and I wasn't the one singing, lol.

Crushgen24/88 04-17-2013 06:01 AM

From the first song tonight, as per the Bon Jovi Facebook.

Wow - that's great! I'm glad Jon is showing his support. I'm a marathoner so this tragedy strikes close to home.

Elevation 04-17-2013 06:04 AM

Do we know what song it actually is?

It's probably Water... first song for the last few shows and acoustic.

Captmorgs 04-17-2013 06:38 AM

Great to show support of Boston. But sports fan Jon should have known better than to wear a Patriots shirt in Denver. :)

LeaJovi 04-17-2013 06:56 AM

No PBP tonight?

C-Skidmore 04-17-2013 07:16 AM

From looking at a picture, I can verify that the song with the "puppets" as part of the pillar video behind the stage was played, been awhile since the two shows in Toronto, can't remember... most likely a routine song in the setlist though

I believe that's WAN, right?

C-Skidmore 04-17-2013 07:17 AM

lol, makes sense

C-Skidmore 04-17-2013 07:25 AM

Also sounds like they did a Stones cover which isn't out of the ordinary either

Nothing wrong with wearing a Patriots shirt anywhere ;)

C-Skidmore 04-17-2013 07:31 AM

C-Skidmore 04-17-2013 07:34 AM

And a "casual fan" is posting that the band is playing the deadliest catch theme song...which they has no affiliation with but if you look up the theme song it sounds an awfully lot like Blaze of Glory... :)

rightsideofwrong 04-17-2013 07:35 AM

That makes me way too excited for my show next week. Wahhhhhh!

I'm pretty sure that the deadliest catch theme song is Wanted Dead Or Alive, at lest that's the song in the opening credits.

Haha yeah I see what you mean :) It sounds like a cross between Blaze and Wanted. Oh well I guess we'll find out soon enough.

I'll take the chances it being Wanted..as the connection to the tweet and it actually being the theme song is probably highly accurate..wishful thinking on my part, at least Dry County was played!
