The best Bon Jovi album Part 2

Which is the best album from 2001-2013?

Panda 04-20-2013 04:26 AM

The boxset, hands down. Dunno why you would include that as the very vast majority (if not all) of it is recordings from before 2001. My second choice would be Crush but that's 2000. My third choice would be Lost Highway.

Voted Bounce. I would've voted for the boxset, but as Panda said, most of it is pre-2001. There's only 2 or 3 songs after 2001 on there, isn't there?

I don't see why everyone loves so much the boxset. Yes, there're great songs there and if you pick 15 you could have one of the best Bon Jovi albums, but is a 4 CD material and has a lot of WTF songs.

I'm between Bounce and Lost Highway.

A lot of WTF songs? Pffft the worst song on the boxset is better than anything Bon Jovi have released their past 2 albums.

If you think that Billy, All I Wanna Do Is You or Flash and Bone are better than Happy Now, Brokenpromiseland or Pictures of You well... I don't know, I guess that I respect that though I don't think the same.

Boxset, best release of the 2000s. Hope we'll get another one.

Interesting how nobody voted for What About Now (yet). I thought a few people here said it was the best record since These Days.
I guess that was just early excitement and it wore off quickly.

It's not fair to put the boxset, a compilation and a live album in the same poll with the studio releases. A GH album will obviously have the best songs and better than any other album, so it's pointless.

But studio album-wise, Lost Highway wins easily. I'll say it again, it's the only 2000s effort that I feel is sincere and matches with their 80s and 90s stuff. It's the only 2000s album, where I hear and feel the band that I love.
