Anyone Here Actually Like the Newer Bon Jovi Albums?

Newer means since Crush?

Or like most hardcore fans of rock bands, you dislike the newer album cuz the old ones are waaaaay better?

Crush was decent, Lost Highway was okay. The rest sucked.

What Aboot Now is an abomination.

I think most are ok, except Bounce which is weak. HAND is quite good too!

What About Now, disliked it at first, but the more I listened to it, the more I like it. Ill see after a few more listenings.

Crush is one of my favorite albums period.

I like most of the post-2000 songs. I think there are some duds on every album, but I like much more than I dislike. That's why I'm here. If I thought all of Bon Jovi's new stuff sucked, I'd move on to another band or bands and other message boards. The weakest album, to me, is The Circle. I really like What About Now so far. I've also found that some songs I didn't like so much when they were new, I like better now. Listening to Bon Jovi radio is exposing me to songs I haven't heard in years and I often find myself thinking, "That's better than I thought it was."

Where's the "I enjoy the albums a lot, but still not as much as their older songs" option?

It also depends on the song. There's many post-2000 songs that I would rank higher than many pre-2000 songs.

Well, just choose the second, cuz I said love not like.

Yes, I like it. I think that Bounce and Lost Highway are two of their best albums overall, and Have A Nice Day is a great one too. And I do enjoy songs in Crush, The Circle and What About Now.

The Circle and What About Now are their most weak efforts, IMO. They need to change for their next record.

I think the albums post 2000 have gotten better (sort of). Here's how I'd rank them:

1.Have A Nice Day
2.What About Now
3.The Circle
4.Bounce
5.Lost Highway
6.Crush

Crush and Bounce would have been absolutely perfect if some of the b-sides would replace some of the duds!

The Circle had some really good stuff on it except for a couple which were their worst ever (Follow,Live Before You Die) What About Now is laughable and painful to get through
