Inside out & BBC In Concert on Palladia
Both are on Palladia this month. I watched BBC last night and it's edited to death. Focus on the same old hits and most of the new stuff they played during the show did not make the final cut. BWC, WAN, Amen, I'm With You were the only new songs inluded in the hour long version on Palladia. No "Water", "What's Left Of Me" or "Army.." I actually quite liked the live versions of these songs. Oh well.

Damn - that's too bad about the BBC show. I recorded it last night on my TiVo but have not yet had time to check it out :(

Recorded as well. Have not checked it out. I did check out the terrible "Inside Out." That tripe has no business being shown representing a band as big as Bon Jovi on a channel like Palladia. Have they bothered to even check what the other programming on Palladia looks like? It isn't MTV, Jon, even if it is Viacom. They actually play music, live music that is, all day from all sorts of bands and performers from a variety of genres.. new and old.

Yes. I believe you are right. I was happy about that too.

Not sure what else will be on there - I just set Bon Jovi on my TiVo and let it rip this weekend so there may be other stuff too. |
Would be appreciated if somebody could upload that version of I'm With You. It seems that we're not going to listen that song a lot :(
About Inside Out... I didn't even cared to watch it after seeing the tracklist and listening to the iTunes Album. The album sounds like crap, and the song choices are bad. They should have released as an Live CD/DVD the Argentina show, or a mashup of Nights 2 and 3 on Sydney, or the Lisbon gig that sounded amazing and had a great setlist. On Inside Out, Jon sounds so ****ing bad that if I haven't saw them live, I'd say he sucks. The Lost Highway concert is amazing, one of the bests Live DVDs of the band, IMO. |
Yeah, i've caught the Lost Highway concert too when it's been on. Looks great in HD. I don't understand why they filmed it in HD and only put out a DVD release? Why no Blu Ray?
I always found audio quality of the Australian Tour Edition of LH that came with a bonus disc of the entire LH concert to be faaar better than the DVD. |
