J. Giles? He's not dead? Apparently, he's been restoring old cars and filing lawsuits. According to Wikipedia, their most recent album was in 1984, and they did a short tour last fall minus J. Giles -- thus, the lawsuit! The J. Giles band without J. Giles opening for Bon Jovi without Richie -- hot ticket!

Yeah but Bon Jovi is not a nostalgia act, so having J. Geils would be nostalgia, hence the J. Geils band without the man himself.

That said, I have loved the J. Geils band recent output so I can't complain. :scramble:

Yeah this is all pretty confusing. Someone owes someone a big favor.

No disrespect intended toward them, but I can't image them bringing much of crowd for as much as Bon Jovi charges for a ticket.

They're popular in Boston. They opened for Aerosmith recently.
