The last time Bon Jovi played Glendale was February 24, 2010. The setlist contained no surprises. Some rare songs played that night were Richie's rendition of Homebound Train and the acoustic renditions of Something For The Pain and Someday I'll Be Saturday Night.

Rather mundane.

It was a different show. Jon was on fire though. He was in a great mood and all over the place. I got a setlist, fist bump from Jon, and security let me take my girlfriend to the front of the stage since I was in the circle and propose during always. :]

I thought it was a great show. Overall, Los Angeles was better, I thought Jon was in a more playful mood, especially towards the end of the show. But I thought his voice sounded better tonight than in LA. This was the 4th show in a row that I've gotten Always which is really great, and I had never heard Last Man Standing before so that was good too. I knew 2 different groups of casual fans at this show and both said it was fantastic.

Jon told a story about how he was here in Arizona visiting a friend, sitting in the parking lot of a Circle K when he first found out What About Now was #1 in the US. I thought that was pretty strange, how A) he was in Arizona in March and B) he was just waiting in a Circle K parking lot, but it's a nice story.

Set is meh, but happy to see Crash back.

Haha yeah she did. I wasn't expecting crash at all. And I have never seen it live so it was honestly a nice surprise. The crash wave went over very well. But damn my arms got tired lol. I know a lot of people here don't like captain crash, but it was cool to participate in the wave for once.

The Cap'n needs to stretch his sea legs before he's thrust into the spotlight in Europe.

Oh, the indescribable pleasure in one day getting to strangle Captain Crash with one's bare hands.
