What times have the shows been starting?
 

I'm going to the show in San Jose tonight. From what I've heard there haven't been any opening bands. Has the band been taking the stage earlier as a result of this? The past shows I've gone to they always took the stage around 8:30-8:45. Is this still a safe bet?

The show should start between 8 and 8:15.

The two shows I've seen this leg have started promptly at 8:10pm with no opening act.

Anytime after 8:00 is a safe bet but surely they won't take the stage until the crowd is in their seats. They play Blitzkrieg Bop on the PA before the show and then dim the lights a little, followed by a couple other songs with a sort of "let's go" kind of message to start getting people away from the concession stands and into their seats. I noticed the lights kept getting dimmer and dimmer after 8:00 until they finally started. They waited until that arena was full, which I totally understand.

this will be my busy time but I don't want to leave it.I like all songs of these rock stars.
