Return of This Left Feels Right versions to the set.

It's something that's been on my mind the last couple of days. Would you enjoy having one These Left Feels Right song on the setlist? I'm not saying playing the whole album, or stop playing the original versions of the songs, or having one every night, But, it wouldn't be nice to have one once in a while? I'd certainly enjoy the acoustic version of It's My Life in the snoozefest, way more that I'd enjoy Amen, for example.
Also, it doesn't have to be only songs of TLFR, the acoustic version of We Weren't Born To Follow was pretty good, and I'd be nice to hear it... once.
I know what users will say "no" and "TLFR sucks", but I got to ask :p

I had the "pleasure" of hearing 2 songs of This Left Feels Right in 2006 and it's easily been the biggest buzz killer during any Bon Jovi show I've ever seen.

And there's a big difference between doing an acoustic rendition of We Weren't Born To Follow and the utterly dreadful arrangements on This Left Feels Right which were coïncidentally all done to suit Jon's voice. If you're going to exchange songs for worse renditions of a song, there's no point in doing them anyway.

Salaam Aleikum,

Just curious, which ones were? I pressume Bed of Roses and Always?

I'd find more boring the Follow version than the It's My Life of TLFR. I think that most of that album is shit, but I'd like a lot Wanted Dead Or Alive, and the "acoustic" It's My Life, Born To Be My Baby, Always, I'll Be There For You and Bed of Roses (this last two I wouldn't like to hear as the normal live versions aren't that different and I like more).

When I said "add", I was thinking about IML. Let's be honest, Jon sounds like crap on that one live.

No, no, no, never bring them back... are you sick?

Are you effin' nuts? TLFR-versions of songs? I'd rather shoot myself in the foot and smile while doing it.

Totally Yeah !!

They should play them like this:

Crash
Who Says
Born to Follow
Make a Memory
I'll be there for you (TLFR)
Always (TLFR)

That would be a good solution for anyone who has sleep disorders.

Better if they'd bring some new "What About Now" songs I think .. Would be more logical

Yeah, the set could improve a lot with the right What About Now songs. Beautiful World and Pictures of You would be some nice additions.

Hell no. No TLFR versions! Reggae versions only.

CKatz 04-27-2013 06:53 PM

TLFR songs live? Are you serious? No. Just no.
