I Could Make A Livin' Out Of Loving You - Error?
 

Hey Guys,
Does anybody know why there's a long gap between the guys fooling around and the beginning of the song?

It's just the way things are done sometimes. They kinda treated the song like a "hidden track" even though it isn't. I don't know if there's a reason behind it, probably not.

I was hoping because it's an absolute travesty of a song and they were hoping to bury it. How in the name of Saint Michael on a Bicycle that song ever saw the light of day is beyond me.

Neurotica is such a better song and yet this turd gets released as the first bonus track?!? Jon should be shot with balls of his own crap for that alone.

But if I was to answer your question rather than go on a rant, I'd have typed what jessy did.

I actually like that song a lot. If I had to choose, I'd most likely go with "Neurotica" as well, though I don't like the game of picking favorites. I'm also kinda emotionally attached to "Neurotica" because it was one of the very first Bon Jovi songs (4th/5th) I discovered when I became a fan. It was on a promo CD that came with a magazine, and I remember thinking: "this must be a HUGE hit from the past". I couldn't believe it when I found out it was actually a bonus track from "Crush".

Haha, I can't contain my hatred sorry. I just think the lyrics are so bad. Make me cringe everytime I hear them. To me, this sort of song is the reason Bon Jovi get so much stick.

That said, it never ceases to amaze me how every song they have ever released (singles, album tracks, bonus songs) always seem to get quite a few people that like them. That's the beauty of individual taste and opinions I suppose.

Yeah, I agree! I thought the same thing while I was reading everyone's top 5 of the post-2000 albums on another thread. A lot of variety, it's refreshening and it actually gives me a sense of hope for some reason.

I don't mind the song as much as you do but I cringe at the thought of Jon holding a hammer or actually trying to "fix" things. The only tool he's got in his life is Matt and he's barely capable of using him properly.

I think it was to make a point in separating the actual album from the bonus tracks. I think they did the same thing with the bonus tracks from Bounce, but I'm not sure....
