Will be interested to hear what these days sounded like... for me the worst was hyde park 2003.

The vocals weren't great but the atmosphere that night - it didn't matter. And then Never Say Goodbye to finish.

I remember walking away on a high from that show, and then later on, when Thierry and I actually talked about the show we both realized it was a pretty bad show. The atmosphere is one I'll never forget though, never seen a crowd like it anywhere.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I remember that too. Very special. I know he struggled vocally on the bounce tour anyway. As you say magic night but I do remember cringing during the final chorus of these days.

That's where the difference between me and you lies I think. You then go away and analyze it, I just take that feeling and keep it with me. That's what I remember about the shows - the moment - that's what it's all about. Makes absolutely no difference afterwards except your killing the memory.

I guess by the standard of the tour so far TD and DC are pretty decent. But weren't these the two rarities from 2011? I dunno, Munich shows in years gone by we're known for amazing setlists with proper rarities which hadn't been played in years. Lets face it, we're not gonna get another Lisbon this tour.

The band finished with TD in Edinburgh in 2011 and I thought it was amazing at the time. On watching it on youtube, I realised that JBJ's voice wasn't the best. But at the time, I genuinely didn't notice.

You definitely get a different vibe at a gig that you don't get watching on video. And the fact that you sing along at the top of your voice at a gig!

Welcome....and yeah, I didn't notice and don't care when I'm at a show. A gig isn't the same as listening to it on the record - its the experience that counts, so Jon's struggling with his vocals now but that's not going to stop me going. I can still have a great time.

Overall, it was really a blast!! They played for over three hours
Just a few quick notes:
- Jon was in great shape, really interactive and cheerful to people
- Jon's voice seemed to be a little less performing than in previous years
- The stage and scenography were impressive, especially for Lost highway
- The initial songs were really great!
- The middle part with slow songs was so so: Bed of roses was really slow, and also Memory did not come out so well. I don't comment on When we were beautiful, which I don't particularly like also in the studio version, but then it took a little while to recover, as We weren't born to follow came out a little weird, maybe to fast
- From Who says you can't go home we were back to pure blast! Especially all the part with I'll sleep when I'm dead
- The left lights of the car seemed to be working less well than the right ones ;-)
- In the diamond ring there was someone with a poster reading "Tico dominates" :-)

'Someday I'll Be Saturday Night' and 'These Days' is enough for me.

Looks great on paper! I'd be happy with that but we all know it will drop back to normal with DC and always popping up. These days will show up rarely but will be played in London
