Jon's apparent reluctance to MOVE onstage

Compare and contrast

to this, another guy who's voice is shot in comparison to what it once was

if you ask me, his ability to engage with the audience makes up for the vocal short-comings! He's not hiding behind a mic stand!

A lot of different people have gone on to say that Jon's back was ****ed up at the start of the tour, he's moving a lot more now. I don't think it's been officially confirmed if it was but it makes sense. Granted, he's not moving like the LH tour, but the difference with now and at the start of the tour is pretty drastic...

He stopped moving on the HAND tour. LH was a snooze compared even to bounce!

I saw Whitesnake 2 years ago and they sucked. Coverdale is 60 and his voice is shot.

I agree he doesn't move around like he used to, and I'd prefer he move more. BUT something came to mind when I saw him in Kansas City this year that I hadn't noticed before. For some of the ballads (like Roses, Amen, etc.) he almost has to stand at the microphone with his eyes closed, because when he makes eye contact with someone, screams erupt from that general area. I was standing by the circle for both my concerts this year and the screaming happened each time Jon opened his eyes and glanced down. I'm sure that would be super distracting.

Maybe I'm reading too much into it, but I had never been close enough to notice how distracting the screaming can be. I almost had to punch a woman behind me, lol!

He doesn't seems to be moving at all like this, but I think that he wants to focus on his singing. That's something that worries me more than if he does or does not shake his ass.

Also, the last time I saw him he was moving a lot, I know it was 3 years ago, so I really don't have that much to complain.

No, he isn't. Not yesterday anyway.

I don't get the point of having catwalks and stairs and shit if you're not going to use them...

Jon is lazy now.

That & the fact he can't sing while moving around. Not that he can when he is holding onto the microphone for dear life either but if he can't then, then he won't when he is moving around.

Shame. He used to be one hell of a front man.

Could be a mental thing after his injury last time. If you feel a little twinge, it's easy to get it in your head that you need to slow down.
