Blue Tears - Rockin' With The Radio?

Is it just me or the vocals are similar to JBJ's?

Sounds like Bon Jovi meets Def Leppard or something. The vocals have something in common with Jon's, but you can definitely hear the difference. Cool song!

lol at this comment:

personally I don't think he sounds like bon jovi, def leppard or bryan adams I think Gregg and blue tears had a sound of their own

Just another band jumping on what was popular at the time.

I find it more similar to Bryan Adams with the backing vocals on the style of Def Leppard, Jon didn't came into my mind.

I used to love this band, their last album was on 2006 and it was quite good. Sadly the singer called Gregg died a few years ago. I never thought about his voice being similar to Jons. Just a typical or standard 80's voice.

This

is one of my favorite songs ^^

Never heard this band before. It does sound like Jovi. Too bad it's the pre-Slippery Jovi (or a band without identity, in other words), the era I like the least, so I don't think I'll ever listen to Blue Tears again. Way too generic, not surprised it wasn't popular in the 90s.

I have the LP 'Blue Tears' which is desperately trying to copy the style and flow of SWW.

Typical of its time, but missed the moment by 1990's.

Does anyone like Johnny Lima? - another JBJ sound alike.

oh my, Blue Tears... i used to be so into this band, even if one album was all they had at the time. their S/T is probably still one of my most played albums ever. their songs had the big Jovi-type choruses, i guess that's what i loved about them. never got to listen to their other release, no idea if it's in the same vein or not. totally lost track of them.

i also had some Johnny Lima cds lying about, but never paid much attention to him. even though the boyfriend at the time wouldn't shut up about how good he was. if i didn't sell them, they must be in a box in the attic, somewhere.
