I'll be going - 3rd and final show of this tour (and maybe this band) for me after Munich and Stuttgart on Friday.
Since it's the last German show of the tour I'm hoping for something a bit special since all final shows in Germany used to be special throughout the years.
But the maximum we can this time will be Happy Now and maybe a butchered version (vocally) of Hey God.
That being said I'm hoping for loud and enthusiastic fans around me (like in Munich) which will help to drown out Jon's vocal fluctuations during the course of the night.

Although it pains me to say this, I sold my tickets for this show.

To those who are going: This show has a large potential to become one of the best of the tour. It's the last show in Germany, it's a saturday night, Cologne crowds are awesome and the stadium is a great venue for concerts. Enjoy!

These are the reasons why I didn't sell my tickets. I have low expectations. Richie, please come back immediately!

Glad to hear you are going. If Richie does indeed come back for Cologne, I will have to kill you though. ;-)

Haha. Unfortunately it's more likely that they will throw Captain Crash AND Who says out of the setlist than Richie will return :p
By the way: It won't be possible to call you because you are on stage on Saturday too? Rumours says that you will have special guest on stage coming from L.A. :D

Yeah, I stopped looking for tickets from the moment Richie was confirmed to be out. I've got no idea what they're going for right now and despite having plenty of time I just can't be bothered anymore. It indeed has potential to be one of the better shows of the tour, usually the last show in Germany is among one of the best of the entire tour.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

I thought you would do Stuttgart and Cologne with Thierry? So you won't be on Cannstatter Wasn on Friday either?

Yep, that was the plan, but I bailed. :(

Believe me, I really looked forward to that trip, but considering how expensive Bon Jovi shows are I felt it just wasn't worth my money anymore. Would tickets have been 40E I'd probably have done those shows, but my car doesn't run on water so yeah. :p

Sebastiaan

Ahhhh crap I going to have to do Hyde park, damp this set list lol

KeepTheFaith2211 06-22-2013 09:54 PM

Nice changes.

Last night's set was equally different, even if we didn't like the changes (some did of course), so it's obvious they are making more of an effort at the moment. Good to see!

ben 06-22-2013 09:57 PM

yeah it's nice to see some changes. even Matt had tweeted it to a fan

"some good ones planned tonight"
