You've created a paradox there haha

I went to Manchester this tour and had a great time. Other than the three new songs, there was nothing I hadn't heard before but that doesn't matter - because it was a good show, great performance, and a lot of fun.

I'd agree here if that was directed at the folk who come on slamming every album since These Days, but taking issue with the setlists doesn't mean folk don't like what they're doing nowadays- it's the inconsistency that's bothering folk. The encore is great, but 'UK Template' is boring and uninspired when compared to what was happening just last week.
In fact, if you do like what they're doing now i.e. the album What About Now, you've even more reason to complain about the set given the lack of songs from that.

So, there were 4 GOOD shows in Europe this tour ... Meh

I feel like all the shows were good in Europe except Sofia and Hamden Park.

There are plenty bands out there who play a very rigid setlist, and play shorter shows, too. Bon Jovi are still one of the biggest touring bands, they do mix the sets up - but even if they didn't, there's no guarantee of that, you don't buy a ticket with "expect 3 hours and 10 rare songs". What's more, people know this now yet still complain and seemingly act surprised about it.

This. Since the tour started I've been hoping for Pictures of You, Beautiful World and even maybe Room At The End Of The World to pop out, they haven't and won't.

Also, I like what the band is doing now. I'm not the #1 fan of their last two records, but setlists like the one of Cologne and songs like Pictures of You or Into The Echo reminds me of why I still love this band, the excitement I had when they played This Ain't A Love Song was mindblowing.

I just don't like that Jon thinks he has the perfect setlist when he doesn't.

I don't think Jon thinks he has the perfect setlist. I don't remember his exact words on that Q&A from the fan club trip, but he talked about having different voices in his head when he tries to write the set list--he knows he has to please the casual fan who only wants to hear the hits. But I get the feeling he'd love to play more songs that he genuinely loves like Welcome to Wherever You Are that wasn't a hit.
