Yeah, I agree with this wholeheartedly :) Everyone has a preference but for the most part the shows (apart from the obvious couple) have been pretty good.

I hope the yelling at Phil X wasn't too bad. *wince* poor guy. I'm glad they all have a bit of a break now.

Has it officially been announced that Phil will be at the US shows? I mean it's pretty obvious he will but has it been said anywhere?

No, we're at that point where we just have to anxiously wait for an official announcement again. Although this time, it's quite obvious what the response will be. What makes me curious is whether they will word it differently now or they'll just recycle the same announcement for the third time.

At the start of BTBMB Phil dropped his guitar pick so didn't catch his notes right. Jon picked it up off the floor, gave him stink-eye and aggressively told him to pull himself together. Phil looked horrified.....
Jon did indeed back into his mic stand and knock it off.
He also threw his jacket into the crowd, though it miraculously landed in the hands of Shari who was front and centre with usual budddies.
Got confetti in places I didn't think possible thanks to Captain Crash!!

I hope Jon apologised to Phil.

Im sure my mate was chatting away during one, but I can't tell from a quick look which one in my drunken state!

Yeah, we all do.

Poor Phil X, he earns a lot of money for the job and his boss can't tell him off.

I mean, what the hell? This board is getting ridiculous.

If he stink eyed him in front of the crowd he should have apologized in front of the crowd......nah, that ain't ever gonna happen. Who gave Jon the stink eye when he knocked his stand over?

I hope Jon apologised to Phil because judging from what people have said who were there, it was a complete over-reaction. If it was a huge screw-up, fair enough. But from what others have said, it didn't warrant such a strong reaction.

Really? We have seen how big of dick Jon can be. People drop picks, forget lyrics, lose melody, get hay fever and shut down the show. He could be a little more understanding to a guy that saved his ass... and throwing a fit in front of 70,000 (?) people is even more pathetic.

If he doesn't then Phil might just quit the tour, contact Richie Sambora, who will then call up Tico and Hugh and will then proceed to do a supergroup called "suck it Jon". Dave of course will stay with Jon, Jon will then call up Obie who will play drums, Jon will handle bass and vocals and Bobby will handle all guitars for the remainder of the tour...
