I can see where your coming from, Phil X has been awesome, however this is Richie's band also and I think it's unfair to dismiss 30 years of input.

Quite a few of the songs we love are down to Mr sambora... Let's not forget that.

I think that ship sailed long ago for him.

To be honest, he shouldn't be there. He should sit out the leg, the shit storm from fans if he came back would not be worth the hassle for all concerned. If he's ready to come back then it should be at the start of the next leg. Halfway through or at the end of a leg has the potential to piss off those who did earlier shows, how would you feel if you were at Glasgow for example? So, much as I personally would love nothing more than for him to be back, the bigger picture is that he should wait.
