---------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The last time the band played in Milan was on May 23, 1995 on the These Days Tour. However, the last time they played in Italy was on July 17, 2011 on The Circle Tour. From what I remember from the reviews, the show was absolutely fantastic. Here was the set from that night:

1. Raise Your Hands
2. You Give Love a Bad Name
3. Blood on Blood
4. We Weren't Born to Follow
5. The Radio Saved My Life Tonight
6. Its My Life
7. Captain Crash and the Beauty Queen from Mars
8. We Got it Going On
9. Bad Medicine w/ Pretty Woman
10. Spanish Harlem
11. Bed of Roses
12. I'll Be there For You
13. Who Says You Can't Go Home
14. I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
15. Love's The Only Rule
16. Have A Nice Day
17. Keep The Faith

Encore 1:
18. Dry County
19. Wanted Dead or Alive
20. In These Arms
21. Just Older
22. These Days
23. Livin' on a Prayer

Encore 2:
24. Lie To Me
25. Always
26. I Love This Town

After the past two shows, I'm not sure what to expect. I hope that because the leg is winding down, the shows become great again, but there can't be very high expectations.

It was the sweetest thing, by himself, in the middle of the crowd, under the pouring rain. Followed by a kick ass BOR.

Udine was a great night, tomorrow i am taking my gf (first BJ concert) so i will have a blast no matter what.

I am hoping for TAALS for my old self and Always for my sweetheart. Impossible dream would be opening with Let it rock.

Arrivooooo !!!!! :-)

Dave88 06-28-2013 09:30 AM

Of course I'll be there! :p

I was extremely pissed off when I read the announcement about Richie but I've never thought for a second about not going to the show. There's a big hype here, considering that magic night in Udine 2 years ago and the fact that they're playing our biggest and most important stadium.

More than 50,000 tickets sold, weather looks fine and some surprises are ready. :D

Let's hope tomorrow will turn into another "night to remember"!

The venue is incorrect, that show took place at Parco Aquatica.

Supersonic 06-28-2013 09:39 AM

Aloha !

I'm leaving in aboot 30 minutes to pick up the brother and then we're off to le airport. I've pretty much lost hope for something special after Madrid's set, but have decided to go anyway. Such a difference compared to every single show I saw in 2010 and 2011...

I tried finding out more information for that venue, but couldn't find anything about this. As far as I'm aware Parco Aquatica is a large swimming pool.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

It's a Water park, the show took place in a open field inside the park.

Bepded 06-28-2013 10:34 AM

Shit. I have been in the office for two hours and i can't seem to be able to start working. My mind is out of here already... i would need 24 hours before the concert to enjoy the mood, instead i am stuck here until 6 pm tonight....

ben 06-28-2013 03:50 PM

I'm in Milan now, arrived a few hrs ago, had a nice flight ok.
The weather here is ok, only hope it will remain sunny for the whole weekend lol

I had my tickets long before Richie's absence and I was really looking forward to this show. but after all this BJ mess and Richie still being away I wasn't sure if I still wanted to go. but I had promised this trip to my friend plus we're meeting there some other friends/fans there. so here we are!

ok I can't say I have great expectations for the show tomorrow night, BJ without Richie have totally lost their power.. this is gonna be my last show probably, never again a show without Richie.
Though Italian fans have prepared something really special after Udine's show in 2011, from BJclubitalia.com, see here:

http://www.bonjoviclubitalia.com/201...-siro-stadium/

Ok I wish everyone who will be in San Siro tomorrow have a great time and really enjoy the show!! :D :p

Well, you shouldn't have bailed out of the trip to Cologne ;)

AnnieKTF 06-28-2013 04:34 PM

I'll be there. With my I Believe and I'm With You banners. :D Got a little more excited after the Cologne show, but seeing Lisbon and Madrid set lists got me all grumpy again. But I'm sure the crowd will be awesome. If it's anything like Bruce's San Siro crowd, I'll go home buzzing.

Let's hope for a memorable night! :onfire:

milomom 06-28-2013 09:25 PM

Here's hoping this is a great show! That night in Udine was special. I hope the same magic is in the air in Milan!

I thought it was strange, but looks like the same was done for U2 in 2005 http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...an_Siro_U2.jpg

Undivided with a Bobby solo...? Why, why, why? :( Haven't we suffered enough already?

Kev 06-29-2013 10:25 PM

I have read that most concerts held at the San Siro are held on the longer side of the stadium. Pretty cool actually, and makes a change!

ben 06-29-2013 10:27 PM

nice choreography again from the Italians JBJ loved it

Bobby Bullshit Bandiera.

There are some things in Joviland that it's hard to understand.

They bring back an awesome song that it's rarely played, and give the solo to Bobby. This is the same as Ferrari developing one of the best F1 cars ever and hiring me to drive it !!

ezearis 06-29-2013 10:47 PM

Undivied + This Ain't A Love Song = BONER ALERT.

Bruce just played there a few weeks ago, and it was set up the same way.

There. We got the Bruce reference out of the way early. ;-)
