Seeing the band in other countries.

Well, since I signed up here I've seen that several users saw the band in a lot of countries and I wanted to ask them how's the experience as I want to see if I can get the money and see the band in Chile, but I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Does it compare to seeing the band in your country? How's like to see the band, get out, sleep a few hours and take another plane to see them again with almost no sleep? I'm really curious about the experience.

Thanks.

In 2011, I spent 1 month in Europe following the band with a friend. It was awesome.

I've been to the USA several times to see them too, but following them in Europe was something else. You get to visit a lot of nice places and at night go to a BJ show. What else can one ask for ??

Europe is my dream, not only because of Bon Jovi, but because I really want to know those places. The travel I'm planning is a short one, only to Chile, I don't have much money right now to do something bigger. :(

I don't think Chile will get something so special worth travelling for. Save your money and go to Europe !! La Plata and SP will probably get the best sets of South America.

Thought about going to SP, but it's sold out. So I don't really know what I'm going to do, maybe I should save my money as you say and go to Europe next year or something.

That's probably better. It might take a good time for BJ to return to Europe though.

That's another thing, god knows how much we're going to have to wait for another tour or visit. And with the economy in Argentina, tonight I have 50 pesos and tomorrow I have 25, so I don't know if saving it's business haha.

That's also true !!
The thing is, the only reason I'm going to the Jersey shows it's because I will be there anyway during the shows. In your case, you would spend some money only to get a show probably not as spectacular as La Plata will sure get.

Well, thank you a lot for your answers. Hope to hear some others by other forum users. Other thing is that without seeing the band for 3 years, the La Plata gig is going to be more "magical" than if I see an average one two days ago :p

Well, from leaving US performances and setlists and then going to see 2 utterly amazing shows in Dublin, it was an experience unlike any other. If money were no issue I would do it again in a heartbeat.
