I am going to be at this show I am so excited this will be my first time seeing Bon Jovi.
|
A Soldier Field carbon copy set list will be better than this 2010 set list. Yikes!
|
That setlist from last time has 7 songs from the Circle. That's gotta be the most Circle songs ever played in one show. Hopefully Detroit gets a great show.

7 might be a bit too much of unknown material for the casuals, but it's good that the band was wanting to push their new songs. Wish they'd do the same with this tour. Good show everyone! |
I actually like that set list but I'm a Bullet and Thorn lover...ha ha!!

Please tell me that wasn't the whole show...
|
Setlists like this make me think that Jon wants to end the tour as soon as possible.
Expecting average setlists (at best) from now on, with some occasional sparks of greatness in New Jersey, Argentina and Australia. |
Wow, really? That's kind of a bummer. Hopefully the show was still exciting for those who went.

Quality over quantity for sure. I love Sat Night. Such a good live song. 22 songs is a little short but can't say I expected much more for a Thursday in a city that's filing bankruptcy. But the spoiled around here will bitch to be spoiled forever.
|
Jesus , lame set .
|
Poor encore. The first US shows set was actually fairly decent, I did think that the US stadium shows would not differ too much from a standard European set after that, but sadly they have chopped that quite badly. Hopefully it's a one off in setlist terms.

I agree- short show. He should do 25 songs minimum.
*Another stellar review- "Hard-working Bon Jovi delivers polished Ford Field show" http://www.freep.com/article/2013071...-Field-Detroit |
Someone on the fanclub website has said that Tico wasn't feeling well and that Jon asked him if he was okay and Tico said no he wasn't. I wonder if that is just rumor or if it was confirmed at all?
|
That was a bit of a weak set? Not read any reviews yet this am. I too saw where Detroit filed BK yesterday - know the people in that area are feeling the financial pain too so was really hoping the guys would crank it up and give them a few hours to escape the real world. At least for me, that is a big part of what music does. Does anyone know a head count yet? I know tickets were still avail. yesterday morning. I'm afraid it may have been weak. The economy still sucks (at least from my view point, people have not recovered), Detroit confirmed their own yesterday plus the missing RS, ...

Looks like it was at least sold out:

There should be a lot more moaning and bitching because of this joke of a set, I guess there aren't many US fans here on the board. Or maybe just they gave up and let Jon laugh at them everytime he crosses the ocean back from Europe?
Also it was sold out? Europe got better sets in non sold out shows than this. How north americans are still fan of BJ is beyond me. At least for us Argentinians they didn't come before because our economy sucks ass. |

Aloha !
This show was cut short because Tico couldn't go on any longer. There was supposed to be an extra encore but Tico said no to Jon. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |

Wonder what was up with Tico!!?? :(
|
Jon could have finished with a few acoustic performances without Tico surely?

I wonder what was wrong with Tico. I hope he recovers quickly from whatever it was.
