2 Questions RE Hyde Park 2003

I wonder if anyone can help me...

1) Noticed a few clips on Youtube of the Hyde Park gig in 2003 - They look professionaly shot. Was this show ever released on DVD? I know on the TLFR DVD you could unlock a few songs with the poker game but just wondered if the whole show was ever released and if so where might I get a copy?

2) Is this the biggest crowd Bon Jovi have ever played to on one of their own tours? surely has to be. I think there was 103,000 people there. I remember it being packed.

Thanks

Was never released - should be, I'd buy it in a second - but doubt we'll ever see that now.

Not sure about the biggest crowd but it was definitely jam packed - I remember looking back at the sea of crowd behind me (that was my last tour in the fan club so had front row) and even though I was pretty shattered from doing a load of shows on the trot was just amazed by the experience. Although we know the Bounce tour performance wise had some issues - that gig was incredible just for the atmosphere alone.

Bugger.

I forget the set list that day but they played a few from Bounce which I enjoyed. They should have released it.

I remember never seeing a crowd that big. It went back for what seemed like miles. Really great gig.

I could be completely talking out my arse here but didnt they play to an absolutely massive crowd in India (Bombay I think) on the Crossroad or These Days tour?

Edit: Just saw the capacity was 20,000 so obviously not. Was sure they played to a 100,000+ crowd somewhere on that tour but maybe that's me making stuff up.

The clips you saw probably were professionally shot. They filmed and released several songs from that show on the TLFR DVD. They were the following tracks:

Blood on Blood
Bounce
Captain Crash
Everyday
LYHOM
Raise Your Hands

The entire show was never released as far as I know.

I remember hearing that there were 120,000 people in Hyde Park but that may have been super exaggerated.

What a bugger. I really want to see this show again!

Do you have to unlock the songs on the TLFR DVD or can you just play them?
I cant remember?

I think you can play them all or go through the Poker stuff.

I think they gave an excuse that the quality wasn't good enough to be released, which is a shame. It's the sort of thing they could give away/sell online as the demand is there.

I remember the concert well though, a great day. Walking into the GC and looking back and seeing a sea of people even quite early in the day was amazing.

I'm sure there's a bootleg of the gig about though, not the pro shot.

There are bootlegs - both audio and video. If I recall there are a few audio recordings but one of them is head and shoulders above the others. And there is a 3 DVD set that has been upgraded with the very good audio. So you can acutally see this again - just not pro-shot :D

It may be professionally shot, but just some songs (from the TLFR DVD) released.

The show was great, but Jon's voice was shot by then. Maybe that's why it was never released entirely.
