This show is at a theme park, that's right. It's in another type of amphitheater, so there won't be a full production.

Are you sure? Because most sources say that they performed in Buffalo on July 31, 1993, while only setlist.fm says they played at Darien Lake on the same day.

Just posted in the Saratoga thread. I'm from Buffalo but not going. Have a prior commitment and didn't feel it was worth time/effort trying to worm out of it to see a band I saw in February put on a near identical set w/o their lead axe slinger. Also, if Jon tries to duplicate last nights set that won't go over well at all. Great venue though. Seen many an 80's rock concert there

I realize I recently posted I wasn't going to go...

I'm conducting a rehearsal until 8:30, though it might mystically end at 8:15. I can be to the venue by 9:00. Now, the stated start time is 7:30. Have shows actually been starting at 7:30? That seems very early to me. Darien has a curfew of 10:30 but any concert I've seen there has gone until 11. Of course Jon would be the goody two-shoes to end at 10:30. Still, theoretically i'd catch upwards of 1.5 hours. Only thing is I'd hate having to pay for a full priced ticket showing up half way through. Thoughts?

I wouldn't. 'Lost Highway' and 'Whole Lot Of Leaving' (if played) are in the first forty-five minutes, so...you'd be missing the best songs played really.

I wouldn't pay for a full priced ticket. However, you could find a scalper willing to take a loss at that point in the parking lot. Also I've never been to the venue, but seeing as it's outdoors could you stand outside and still hear some of it?

Tons of empty seats. Was able to upgrade for $10 to 300 section and the lady said they were printing more.

Seems like suburbia was just opening. Horn section is completely off the stage, white mic stand is out. Hopefully will be getting a true jovi show after all.

Since the Buffalo area is kind of a repeat city for this tour, I'm surprised tonight wasn't like last night's show with the Kings. But I'm glad it's not.

seems like there's a storm brewing there.

Lightning storm... Band off stage postponed for the time being...venue rep came on asked everyone to take shelter that wasn't covered. Waiting for storm to pass.

After all the complaints on twitter, facebook, Backstage, another forum and this message board, you would hope that someone gave the message to Jon! I think it was a lesson learnt.

I'm at the show.... In the bathroom right now because it is lightning out very bad. The band is off the stage. I will say after reading about last night I was not expecting much but I have been very impressed so far with the set and the band. Keep the Faith was excellent and I saw a sneak peak of the set....Loves the Only Rule is supposed to be played so I'm pumped!!!

Maybe Matt told him about the crap twitter comments he was getting. :D

I'll be so jealous, I love Love's The Only Rule! Might be my favorite post-2000 Jovi song. Ugh. Hopefully it doesn't get cut for time with the rain delay...

Captain and HAND has been played too, but I´m not sure. A heavy rain make the show shorter.

I'm interested to hear how this one went down. They got LTOR, which is a plus in my book, as well as Radio and WLOM, which are kind of curve balls.

But with the storm, short set, and apparent change of plans (from KOS to a Bon Jovi), I imagine it was an interesting show.
