My conversation about Bon Jovi with my 7 year old cousin
 

Nothing special - thought it might be amusing to some. Maybe it's one of those "you had to be there" moments.

He's been listening to my music, seen my t-shirts, laptop stickers and iPhone case which prompted him to ask:

Him: dude why do you like Bon Jovi so much?

Me: 'cause they're amazing.

Him: did you get to meet him at the concert?

Me: yeah dude, he was asking why you weren't there with me.

Him: but he doesn't even know who i am!

Me: he knows everyone, he's Jon Bon Jovi, he's like God.

Him: but he's old! I bet you'll be really sad when he dies.

Me: dude....he won't die ever.

Him: Michael Jackson was a music star and HE DIED.

Me: yeah but Jon Bon Jovi is immortal. like i said, he's like god. gods don't die.

Him: woah that's so cool, who else is immortal?

Have you guys had any other experiences with children and noticing Bon Jovi? What do they think about it?

I saw those 2 youtube videos with the kid singing Because We Can in the hotel room and the other one where the toddler was crying for Bon Jovi.

This is a very bizarre conversation. There is only 1 God and he is not Bon Jovi.....

We all know god's Bobby. That's why Jon's keeping him close.

This conversation looks to me like you don't know why you are a Bon Jovi fan so you just made fun of the little boy. By the looks of all the Jon and god reference you are probably in love with him.

...and this is the only plausible answer!

With your posts I never know if what you're saying is tongue-in-cheek or serious.

If it's the latter - it is worth noting that there are religions that believe in multiple Gods (I'm sure you're aware, just covering my bases).

This happened at about 6.30AM, he wakes me up every morning to play with me during my visits.

I know why I am a Bon Jovi fan, yes I teased the 7 year old. Unfortunately for you mate - I am not a Jon lover. He has his pros and his cons - just like anyone else. As I mentioned earlier I was TEASING A SEVEN YEAR OLD. I was not under oath in court. Take it easy.
