This song went 10 years undiscovered. The person who wins this will shell out a pretty penny for it and I'm sure they won't be in any rush to put it on YouTube.

I can't see anyone paying more than 50 dollars for a song. If it stays at 50, and we have 15 people willing to contribute, it will be 3 / 4 bucks per person. In concept, it's a lot for an MP3 but don't look at it selfishly, do it for the community here at Dry County.

Here is what I think we should do.

At first I was going to suggest creating another topic for those who are in. All they say is "I'm In" and the amount they are willing to pay. This way we could get an estimated count.

But then I thought, if the seller is watching this board, he could jack the price on us. I think we should keep it quiet and just PM the leader, Nige, with our e-mail addresses so he knows who's in for sure. The leader will then respond to all the people who are in via e-mail and we could communicate that way. (Just be skeptical of new users).

My other concern is that Backstage members or other groups are doing the same thing so keep your eyes open. We could even join forces with them.

Besides with the Not-Jovi's touring the legacy into the grave, I doubt much more fun stuff will turn up as the overall value of of collectibles drops.

It might go for $500+ if the seller gives assurances that he won't make or sell copies. Perhaps even more than $1000.

Hardly ever post anymore, the travesty tribute band touring now leaves me uninspired and the problems that prevent Internet Explorer from posting to this board are too much hassle to deal with.

Although it seems to be pretty much 100% BJ ...... it does seem kinda' strange - CD is dated early 2003 - uses the HAND font - HAND doesn't come out until late 2005 .... & the original poster just joined today to tell the board the news.

Correct me if I'm wrong - Breathe came out on the Target CD (January 2003) and then again on the box set (November 2004) .... and the CD is promoting Breathe specifically on May 23rd, 2003 - odd timing.

The seller is listed as residing in Los Angeles ..... I think Sambora's kid asked dad for money, he had none (cause he's currently unemployed), so he tossed the girl an old BJ demo and said, "Here, you should be able to turn this into gold." She then hands it over to her boyfriend who makes a CD and is now selling it on eBay for beer money ..... or maybe - Richie has left Twitter in the dust and has turned to eBay.

"Breathe" is included in "Everyday" maxi, which had got released in early September, 2002. ;)

I'd love to have both tracks in FLAC format. You never know, "Breathe" may have a different mix or something. I'll happily pay £10 as a contribution.
