I don't get it either.

The reason why the songs aren't the same anymore.

I could feel Jon in that studio blasting out IML.

I could puke at the WAN vocal.

I realize I've made this point before but that footage isn't Jon recording the vocals for WAN. It's him singing over the pre-recorded vocals "For the cameras" as he even says. You can hear him singing over the already recorded lines.

One thing that Crush b-roll footage proves is Jon did infact sing the song in the studio in the original key you hear on the record. Not half a step down, like many have claimed.

Makes me miss the power in his voice, fact is its never been the lyrical content that lifted Bon Jovi songs, it was mainly the delivery of the vocals. At his peak both live and studio it was one of the great rock voices.

WAN is not all that inferior lyrically, sung as per his IML vocals and with more band input, it would be a far better song than the rubbish that got released.
