Well, the buzz seems to be around the fact that Jon actually showed up at the Wedding Chapel to walk that Australian fan down the isle, proving wrong to all those that called her crazy for just thinking about it, LOL

OK.. seriously, the last of interest could be due to being able for a long time now, to guess the set lists, a change here, a change there... most can wait to find out.

Also today fans were having a great time meeting Richie in Chicago at a mall, where he was presenting his clothing line, many of those have to be in la la land now, not caring about the set list either, LOL

Is this for real? If so, I'm VERY glad I didn't go see this show. Quickly losing interest in this band, let alone the tour.

The set is bogus, it's been a long time since this board has seen a proper hoax when people start falling for this stuff.

Salaam Aleikum,

Set list is totally false. I was at the show. It opened with Last Man Standing. I'm fuzzy on the order, but these were played:

Last Man Standing
Water
Born To Be My Baby
Bad Medicine
It's My Life
Because We Can
What About Now
We Got it Going On
We Weren't Born to Follow
Lost Highway
I'll Sleep When I'm Dead
Whole Lot of Leavin'
Keep the Faith
Who Says
Memory
Superman (acoustic)
Someday I'll Be Saturday Night
Wanted
Have a Nice Day
Prayer
Covers: Jumpin' Jack Flash, Fire, Shout

I've seen them three times this tour and I think this was my favorite show. Jon had lots of energy and Phil is really coming into his own. He really rocks out on Have a Nice Day.

StickToYourGuns45 10-13-2013 11:29 AM

disagree, i could happily have a great time with a set list like that

Javier 10-13-2013 07:54 PM

The only way Saturday Night should ever be played acoustic is if it's in an acoustic show.....

GabrielC 10-13-2013 09:28 PM

That acoustic version of Superman Tonight was that cool slow one from 2011 or that stupid boring one from 2009?

Captain_jovi 10-13-2013 09:37 PM

? What one from 2009?

I assume he meant this one. Which for me personally is better than the 2011 one. This is my favorite version of Superman.

Yes, I meant that one. I don't like it, it's nothing new, unlike the new arrangement from the 2011 version, and lacks the power from the album version.

I have said for a while that Bon Jovi should play the same setlist each night. But make it a good setlist. There's like...four songs in that set that I really want to see again. The rest I don't care for.

Captmorgs 10-13-2013 11:08 PM

Does anyone have a link to the acoustic version of Superman that Jon did for Hurricane Sandy? I can't find it. THAT one was my favorite.

I agree... This still seems like the Lost Highway tour and it has gotten really, really stale. Play the same 24 songs every night of the tour... maybe throw 2 audibles up every night, if they want to. BUT, change the set dramatically every tour. The die hards who want change would all walk away much more satisfied and the casuals won't know the difference.

Instead of Crash, play Next 100 Years. Instead of Lost Highway, play Any Other Day. Keep the hits if they must, add 4-6 news songs off the album they are promoting but shake up the rest.

Two of the reasons my days of seeing 6 shows in a tour are well gone.

You know, I "threatened" it for years on this board. Not sure if the final straw was Richie leaving, Jon's shit voice, or the set lists, but I saw them just once on this tour, and that's enough for me.

I think a really big part of it for me is Jon's refusal to play some of the songs that are clearly better than what is being played. "I'm With You" has got to be one of the easiest songs vocally to sing, and every message board I've seen votes it as the best song on the record, yet he won't play it. He continues to play "Always", which no doubt, we love, but he simply can't sing any more. "This Ain't A Love Song" would be so much easier, and such a nice change of pace.

It's just funny how for years, Jon has always been so against becoming a novelty act and takes the band so seriously, and now, it's become JUST a novelty act and a joke.

Most of the time, the Always performances are good enough to me to merit being included, but 'I'm with you' on I'm With You...

But then most of us would have different choices from all albums. Sometimes I think JBJ just plays the songs he likes and that, over the years, he has gone off a lot of stuff. There are so many singles that were hits that have just been shelved.

One Wild Night
Say It Isn't So
Everyday
Misunderstood
I Believe
All These Days singles
Blaze of Glory

Then there's all the album tracks that JBJ said he was going to start including, and to be fair did so on the Circle Tour and Bon Jovi Live but has since completely abandoned.

gabriele 10-15-2013 03:17 AM

I am looking for Always.
There is only one video around, the performance seems to be very good (strange but true)

gabriele 10-15-2013 10:43 AM

Always.

I think that's an amazing performance.
