ow did Jon Bon Jovi help the hurriance victims?
 

Hi all,

Today is the one year anniversary of Hurrican Sandy. I know that it battered parts of New Jersey. I remember Jon helping out. What exactly did he do to help? I need a reminder of what he did.

His Soul Kitchen distributed food (there were photos of Jon & family working in the restaurant putting the stuff together); NBC (?) filmed a segment with Jon visiting neighborhoods to highlight the damage; Bon Jovi was part of the benefit concert that was televised nationally.

The band collectively also donated a million dollars to the relief fund.

The million was recent, but still needed. I also remember on FB a picture of 2 emergency response vehicles (ambulance where I come from) that SF was credited with purchasing and giving to the community. Those things are substancial $! That was when things were still in complete chaos.

At the Sandy Benefit concert, Jon allowed himself to be seen in public with New Jersey's governor -- that should count, LOL!

God that shirt is about to burst.
