Meet & greet - autograph wanted

Hello guys,

I'm new to this forum, been a Bon Jovi fan for a little more than 5 years now. Here's the reason for this thread: my good friend (BJ-fan for over 20 years) who also turned me onto the band is turning 40 next April. When thinking about possible gifts I realised he basically has everything he needs(materialistically speaking) so I need something with a little more ''sentimental'' value.

Now, having bought all albums, seen dozens of shows all over the world, gettin a bon jovi tattoo etc..... the one thing he doesn't have is an autograph from the band, or more precisely, Jon Bon Jovi. I tried contacting the band / management via e-mail, facebook etc. but I'm sure they must be getting millions of requests like this and so I haven't heard back from them.

So I was wondering: does anybody know how I can get an autograph, or is anybody on this forum seeing them and getting backstage (though there are only Japan and Australia shows left on the tour) who could get an autograph for me?

Thanks

Short of meeting them, its very difficult I'm afraid. Your best bet is Ebay, although obviously you run the risk of fakes. You could try Backstage, which would guarantee the authenticity, but its very expensive- a framed lithograph is on the store at $750.

There may have been some signed items on the tour merch, I didn't look too closely but I got a signed soul Jersey by the band for approx £100 on the HAND tour.

yes ebay definitely has a lot of signed stuff, problem is it should also say ''happy birthday'' but looks like this is going to be impossible to get then.......

I've got a signed Lost Highway tour programme. I'm willing to sell it to you, just let me know and send me an e-mail (thierryhuntingATlive.nl).

It doesn't have the required happy birthday.

Thanks Thierry, if all else fails, I'll take you up on the offer ;-)

I have a few bits signed by Jon that I may consider selling for right price.....

Dry County single Digi-pack (UK edition)
These Days CD booklet
Limited Edition cards issued with the Hey God single in UK, reviewing previous albums.

All 100% legitimate. Signed when I was on set with Jon during filming of The Leading Man.

Also have the Lost Highway tour book signed by whole band, but wife will kill me if I sell it.

Oh, and if your friend is called Simon (I know, it's a long shot), I have a black and white photo signed "To Simon, All the Best" and then Jon's signature.
I got it direct from the management team after I contacted them to make a complaint. When I met Jon, he said that if I wanted tickets etc to any of the UK shows (this was back in 96), contact XXXXX and it would be sorted out.
Needless to say, I made contact, never got tickets and I got a bit mad at them. Got the photo from them as apology.

When you join the Fanclub and buy the most expensive package you get an autograph of JBJ.
