Still not the best setlist, really. Sounds like a very boring middle with 4 songs on the circle? 'Dry County' has been played to death now. Always welcome 'These Days' in a set, though...

probably not...agreed...still doesn't excuse a mediocre effort setlist wise one night and a kinda 180 the next night...no wait...it's Jovi...cause it can happen...silly me:rolleyes:

Ah was a fun night! I did notice Jon struggling tonight with his vocals, especially during Bad Name, Born To be My Baby, Dry County and These Days. Prayer was a bit of a struggle too... BUT! The energy was there from Jon. He was obviously having a good time, throwing in I Love This Town as a "change of plans".

Again though, the real fun and energy didn't really kick off until Sleep a when I'm Dead medley (with of course the exception of Faith, IML and Bad Name).

I had a blast and so glad I went to both nights. I'm guessing Perth will be a more standard set list but I'll have a heap of fun. The night is what you make it. If you're gonna be a boring ass and sit there the whole night you're not gonna have a good time. Forget the setlist, forget the vocals, get taken over by the music and have an awesome time!

Oh, and there were a lot more people than I expected. By show time it looked at least 90% full. And the crowd sounded louder than last night (not sue if it was cos of where I was sitting - though last night I was in the A section on the floor and tonight I was tier 3 $35 tickets up back.

I'm looking forward and scared at the same time for the "These Days" video to surface, you just know it won't sound pretty.

Same. Credit to him for going for it again, though. Always give him credit for going for it rather than bricking it.

Having gone to both the Melbourne shows, I was relieved that some different songs were pulled out tonight.

First impressions were bad when the opener was the same, and Jon was out of time and out of breath by Bad Name.

Before It's My Life Jon asked who had attended yesterday and stated they had lots of different songs for us, but then proceeded to play the same setlist for another 5 songs until they played Amen.

Amen, SIBSN (accoustic), Diamond Ring and MaM completely put the crowd to sleep, but I was pleased to hear DR for the first time.

SWID finally got the crowd going again, and Phil launching into ACDC/s You Shook Me All Night Long got one of the biggest responses of the night. Everyone loved it and they would be fools not to play more ACDC on the rest of the tour.

I was hoping for a good encore and was pleasantly surprised to hear Dry County and These Days.

I Love this Town seemed to be a last minute addition, although to me it sounded strange, almost like Phil was playing the chords to WSYCGH and Jon was signing over the top of them. Maybe it was just me or the sound mix wasn't quite right.

Unfortunately for the most part Jon sounded terrible. He barely sang KTF, was terrible on BTBMB and squawked his way horribly through TD and DC. The Youtube videos will not be pretty viewing as someone mentioned.

But the crowd seemed to enjoy it, and overall so did I.

Yeah Phil, go away. After all you only saved us, played great and really enjoyed it for the 7 months after the supposed number 1 guitarist pulled out and let us all down! I say stay and join!!
