Moscow 1989

All I can say is WOW. :D Thatīs the only word I can find to describe the performance at the Moscow Music Peace Festival in 1989. I just received a VCD of this show with PERFECT quality. :D The show was so energetic and lively. Jon was walking trough the crowd with an Russian army uniform during the intro to LYHOM! Not to say that the performances today are bad but this was just something incredible. The absolute highlight of the show was Blood On Blood. Oh my god! They were good. This totally beats all the performances Iīve ever seen, including the TD tour. Believe me. Though I have a few bootlegs from the 80īs, none of them reach this high, not even the MK 1989 performance. The moment the show started, a wide grin was all over my face. Damn, I wish Iīd been there in the 80īs. :(

Setlist:
Intro
Lay Your Hands On Me
Wild In The Streets
Blood On Blood
Wanted Dead Or Alive
Livinī On A Prayer
Hound Dog (with Scorpions and the other acts)

What do you think of it?

P.S. Someone said that Sebastian "Jonīs best friend" Bach is the best vocalist in the rock world, if he is the one to sing after Jon on Hound Dog, I must say, his voice if awful.

And sorry folks, canīt upload it, too slow a connection... :(

I agree with you Late. Show is/was amazing. Bon Jovi at their best. Too bad there is only those 5 songs available on video. I think they played about 90 mins there then. If I remember right it was Jon, Klaus Meine from Scorpions & Tom Keifer from Cinderella singing Hound Dog, not Sebastian Bach. Tomīs voice ainīt that bad actually, itīs just a bit "raw" :)

It was awesome! I remember it was only available on Pay-per-view and we didn't even have cable at my house. So my friend Kelly bought it and recorded it for herself and kept forgetting to bring me the tape to watch it. I didn't get to see it until 9-17-89 when we were at Kelly's house getting ready for the Bon Jovi concert that night. I thought the part where Jon went through the crowd was unbelievable! It was the coolest thing! I also enjoyed the footage of Jon & Richie busking in the streets. That may have been part that aired on MTV instead of PPV. The MTV footage that accompanied the weekend was great.

I agree. The show was awesome. I have the VCD. For me the highlight was "Blood On Blood". Never seen such a great version of the song. Almost 10 minutes long and with Richie's part in the middle.

 Do you have the vcd for the whole 90 mins Bon Jovi played?

I think I've only seen pics and pieces of the concert, but I have a program of their trip there, it was shown on Finnish TV that time... :D It's awesome... You can really see that they are proud to be there, doing what they're doing...
