Bruce Springsteen

We here at ChartAttack were so enamoured with Bruce Springsteen And The E Street Band when they played in Toronto in December that we almost felt bad for those of you in the rest of Canada when we started boasting about it. But now those guilty feelings have faded away as the Boss has announced a string of five Canadian dates for the spring. And none of them are in Toronto.

In between the Australian and European legs of their tour, Bruce, Little Steven, Clarence, Patti, Max and the rest of the band will visit Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton, Ottawa and Montreal. Tickets for all five shows go on sale this Friday (January 24). Tickets for the Calgary, Vancouver, Edmonton and Ottawa performances will cost $115 through Ticketmaster: tix for the Montreal show can be purchased through the Bell Centre box office.

As with the other shows on his current tour, Springsteen is expected to primarily play songs from his latest album, The Rising. If the Toronto show is any indication, fans can look forward to about two-and-a-half hours of the Boss and songs including "Born In The U.S.A.," "Dancing In The Dark" and "Born To Run."

Here’s a list of Springsteen’s Canadian dates. Check local listings for more details:

April 11 Vancouver, BC @ Pacific Coliseum
April 13 Calgary, AB @ Pengrowth Saddledome
April 14 Edmonton, AB @ Skyreach Centre
April 18 Ottawa, ON @ Corel Centre
April 19 Montreal, QC @ Bell Centre

have you all got tickets?

i've only seen him twice: manchester 99, and london 2002 but i have tickets for the uk next summer in Lancashire

the energy he still puts into his shows is unbelievable - i think they will be much longer than 2 1/2 this summer tour now also that they are back to stadium dates for the first time since 85/88 i think...

then they were playing 4 hours shows
